Amazing experience! Beautifully decorated, intimate space, with great natural light, and open kitchen. The kitchen itself is minimal, which makes the quality of the dishes that much more impressive. Incredibly fresh ingredients and gorgeous presentation. Friendly chef and staff, accompanied by an open-flame oven as the primary cooking method, and a beachy-relaxed decor. You really can’t go wrong here. Hats off to the Odyssey team for a truly enjoyable evening!

Delicious brunch menu! We tried the burger, trout, and cucumber salad. Will definitely be coming back to try their dinner menu. Also, the staff is friendly and attentive!

Highly recommend – small menu is focused on mid Atlantic seafood with creative flavors and presentation. We ordered several items and each was uniquely delicious. Also like the modern but intimate vibe of the place.

Ventured to the new location at the corner of Three Chopt and Patterson. Sat at the bar / didn’t have a reservation.
Outstanding first experience and can’t wait to return to work thru the menu.
Oysters were amazing. VA Matheson with mango, makrut lime, and basil. PEI Gowanbrae with smoked shoyu, black garlic, cucumber. Wow.
Next up was an Arayes – basically a baked stuffed pita. This one with GA Shrimp, pork season with old bay za’atar with lebna for dipping. So unique and delicious.
Last up this time was the VA Rockfish. Baked in the 600+ degree oven. Skin was so crispy and the fish perfectly cooked. The fish was served over hearty Sea Island peas with dan doodle sausage. Stellar.
Attentive service. Refreshing cocktails. Can’t wait to return.

The food was very good but we will not be back since we were rushed out the door. We had a reservation for our anniversary and enjoyed a bottle of wine with our dinner. As we were finishing the wine after the meal, we were asked to leave so they could turn the table – mind you, we were at the restaurant for less than 90 minutes at this point and we each had about half a glass of wine left so we would have been leaving once finished with that. I think an hour and a half is a very reasonable amount of time for a nice meal out and was very disappointed with the service at the end of our meal.

Don’t be deceived by the simple decor. The food is excellent! We both had tilefish entree. Fresh and well prepared, sitting atop a nice size bed of braised veggies. I’d requested lo sodium. And voila! That’s exactly what i received. Friendly service. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended.

Great and fast service. You get a lot of food for the price, too! Had the Flaming Hot Rock Shrimp and Crab Cake Hand Pie. The shrimp had just the right amount of spice, but the seasoning was really salty. The Crab Cake Hand Pie tasted great, but was a little too hard for my liking. Overall, great experience!

I had a super meal here. We had scallops, beef tartar and oysters fallowed by a banana desert. Good wine. Bo-Bo the owner is a very nice guy as was all the staff. A Small place with New York vibes. The owner/proprietor is the real deal

My first visit to Odyssey after being highly recommended by friends/colleagues. We sampled the Halibut and Trout dishes, hot oyster appetizer, Hot Rolls, and swordfish tartar. My dinner companion commented, “next time we order 2 trout dishes”. Everything was amazing and the portions allowed for fun sampling and sharing.
The environment is small, cozy, classy with amazing staff. Odyssey is easily on our “repeat list”. (The porterhouse for 2 looked amazing – next time!)
