Cannot say enough good things about this New Orleans-Jewish fusion restaurant.
The challah French toast is one of the greatest things to bless this earth. I cannot say enough good things about that Challah French toast…I’ve been dreaming about it ever since and can’t wait to go back.
The location is gorgeous, and it looks friendly and welcoming from the second you see that beautiful magenta down the road.
The art is fantastic, and intentionally designed. It feels rustic and homey with incredible food without feeling pretentious. The food is delicious, my partner loved the chicken and said it was some of the best fried chicken she’d ever had.
Every single staff member made the experience feel welcoming and the delicious food was a special added touch.

If I could give ten stars I would!!!! This place was extremely cozy and loved the New Orleans vibes. The food was amazing. What had me sold from the jump before biting into my food was the freshly squeezed orange juice and HOMEMADE KETCHUP. Amazing restaurant, will come again.

This place is exactly what Evergreen has needed! The food is terrific and authentically New Orleans from a family business. After brunch, fries were still crispy and drinks are cold in the evening happy hour. Can’t wait to come back!

Delightful experience. Great and friendly service. The Red Beans are the BEST! Mmm, the flavor! The spice! Definitely going back next time we’re in town. Price point is spot on. The two of us had practically everything on the menu because the options were too excellent to choose just one. Started with beignets. Finished with beignets.

I stopped into the new Hummingbird Cafe for the first time today, and I couldn’t be happier with my lunch. The service was amazing, and the staff really were attentive to make the experience great. I was also very impressed by the menu; it is refreshing to have such a unique dining option right here in Evergreen. This spot is a total gem and an absolute must-visit if you haven’t been yet. I will definitely be returning soon!
