Solid burger: I especially like the crispy edges. Yummy straight thin crispy fries. The house sauce is tasty too. I like having a beer with my burger. Always too stuffed to try the desserts or shakes, but, one day! Aspirations!

I am so glad I stumbled upon this chill burger spot. I kid you not the big max burger with added bacon I had today was out of this world! It’s a good thing I live so far away or I would be here on the daily !

So good I went back today and took a pic of the delicious big max burger with bacon!

A modern little spin on a certain golden arches restaurant. The Big Max Burger anyway is supposed to kind of be like a Big Mac minus the mini bun. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not much service as you order yourself and they just deliver the food. Take that as you will. But I enjoy quaint little burger spots.

I got the small fries, “Big Mac” with bacon, and a triple chocolate shake. The burger has flavor but is overshadowed from the amount of chopped lettuce. Bacon was good but it isn’t needed here. It’s a decent little smash burger but flavor dissipated too soon. The fries and their seasoning are quite good. Star of the show and the shake isn’t half bad. Not too chocolate-y.

The price is Seattle prices. All this cost $34 with tip. So not a cheap eats.

Burger 7/10
Fries 8/10
Shake 7/10

Overall 7/10⭐

I’m doing my best to try all of the burger spots in Seattle.
This is in the upper middle of the pack.
If I lived in Queen Anne it would probably be a quick weekend lunch place that I frequent.

The big Max burger is a saucy mess but it has good flavor. The patties are smashed and managed to retain their crispiness despite all of the sauce.
I’m never a fan of shoestring fries but these were at least seasoned well and come with a side of their max sauce. (Tangy, close to a thousand island).
I also tried their brown butter cookie, id pass on that. Way too soft and fell apart while handling it.

It’s quite expensive, I spent around $30 with tip for my meal, but I did get a burger, fries, a drink and a cookie.

First we paid for an addition of bacon that wasn’t added to the burger. The buns were burnt to a crisp almost coal like. And the patty or lack there of was cooked well beyond recognizable meat. While flattened to a wafer thin crisp. The establishment was clean and well maintained and they had a wooden rocking horse for a child my little girl liked but we left there hungry for what we consider real food.

The best chicken nuggets I’ve ever had, big round, crisp, house made and served with amazing sauces I had sweet & sour, and Big Max sauce. The herb seasoned fries perfectly crispy and plenty to satisfy! I had a large fry at Bumbershoot festival and remembered & finally had a chance to come by. The Burger is made in house – from the ground meat makes for a tender bitand crispy edges to the sauces. The cookie is made in a tiny pan that creates crunchy edges all around. For my first time in restaurant ,it’s Really surprisingly good meal!

Was really excited to try Big Max burger. Burgers were so crazy greasy I didn’t taste greasy, but the packaging was actually sopping wet from the grease. The patty itself is dry. The Sammy slider is truly tiny. The chicken nuggets were inedible. They were basically a little balls of grease and the breading was so soggy from the grease. It was so disgusting. Ample seating and there’s great parking underneath Bartels and the elevator opens right up into big Max. So so expensive. They charged crazy amounts to add simple things like two tiny pickle slices. So weird. Expect around $20 for a burger alone.

Gem of a restaurant in Queen Anne next to the community center and a middle school. We just got out of a kids basketball game and walked over.

Ordering wars easy on a couple tablets they have set up just inside the door, and the burgers are endlessly customizable. Noticed after we got seats that you can also order with a real person.

Burgers were really good, great balance of toppings on their regular burger, and the bun was properly fluffy and squishy as a classic burger bun should be. The patties were cooked like smash burgers, with the crispy frayed edges that you get when smashing a patty. They may have overcooked them a bit, but it wasn’t noticeable in the regular burger with all the sauces on it.

The fries were also good, off the shoestring variety with some sort of green seasoning on them. I didn’t pick up much more than a salt flavor from them, but the fries were very tasty nonetheless. My mouth is watering thinking about it so they must have been good. Small selection of draft beer too, from places that I’d never heard of like “dirty couch.” That’s a new one for me, but was an interesting hazy pale ale that tasted like an English bitter.

We also got the chicken nuggets, which my son really liked. They were ground chicken shaped into two inch diameter half inch thick pucks that were properly seasoned and crisply battered.

Overall, it was an excellent meal that they served quickly without any hassle. The restaurant is very bright and clean, wood tables and a great vibe. It’s very kid friendly too.

TLDR; really nice burgers for affordable prices. No soggy fries here!

We came in for an early dinner on a weekday and were surprised to find it quite crowded. They do a decent amount so seating though, so finding a spot wasn’t too difficult.

Between the two of us, we ordered the falafel burger, queen animal burger, small fries and a small chocolate shake. The burgers are really quite flavourful – I will say, however, that the falafel burger is quite tangy because of the labneh and kraut. The falafel patty inside is really nice though!

My partner who had the queen animal said that the bacon was cooked really well and that this was the best burger he’s had in Seattle.

The milkshake was a bit too sweet for my taste but still really good, and the fries are super crisp!

Service is pretty quick here too. We got our food in less than 10 minutes after ordering.
