The building is awesome. The food and drinks are good. The restrooms were probably not restrooms before because of the shiny and reflective marble floor… The people who worked there were very nice and professional.
It can get pretty loud inside, but there’s sitting outside in the hall way.

A little difficult to find, and space is multilevel and large. Seat yourself, order at the bar, and food is brought to the table. Grilled chicken club was delicious. Chips were surprisingly delicious. Wife enjoyed the grilled chicken salad. Wide selection of beers on tap.

3/22/25: Outstanding atmosphere and excellent service and food. This taphouse is located in one of the finest historic buildings in the Chemung County area. The owners have taken an empty building that has so much history and given the community a one of a kind balance of a taproom/restaurant/bar. It is an exceptional space to host a small gathering, to a large ball-type affair, with bands in the summer, an outside deck for spring, summer and fall enjoyment.
The service is always outstanding with plenty of staff and a smile on their face. The food is well prepared and delightful to the palate. I would highly recommend the smashburger if you are looking for an decadent afternoon or dinner meal. The menu provides many varieties for each persons liking.

Really lovely pub with rooftop seating and delicious food at a decent price. The service was impeccable and the food was fresh and well made. Definitely a place we’ll return to!

Third time trying this place and it was no a third time is the charm experience. The first two times were good; however this time was fair. The staff was less than enthusiastic and most importantly you could not escape the smell of pot to include the staff. Completely understand it is legal but not everyone wants to dine in it. We moved tables to get away from it as much as possible. For the food – chicken quesadilla was great! The pretzel was burnt and tasted burnt. The boneless wings were dry and warm. The draft beets were great and they have a good selection. If you’re a cocktail person be aware they used regular ice in the old fashion. Also feel like a missed opportunity on the holiday decor as it is such a good wonderful bar area and festive decor would be a welcomed addition.

Everything was great! Good food, decent prices, great atmosphere. Staff were kind and prompt. They could be dressed better – staff looking too casual for the feel of the place. Jogger shorts were not impressive but the person did the job perfectly.

We stayed 3 days in the the Corning/Elmira area and the “ill-Eagle Taphouse” was the best place to grab some food along with a solid selection of draft beers. We had the house salad with grilled chicken and the Mediterranean flat bread. Both were excellent. Atmosphere is great too – located in the old Post Office/Court House building.

I fly to Elmira from NC almost weekly. The food is good, the drinks are good, and the service is great! Though I believe I’m the only southern (semi) regular, the staff and other regulars make me feel at home every visit. Love these guys!

I truly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The servers and bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable about everything they have. I had the Smashburger, Italian Sausage bites, and Pork Bites. All of which were fantastic! They also have a great collection of local beers and wines. Make sure to try the Pumpking ale is you visit in the next few weeks. I’m not even a pumpkin spice fan and loved this beer. I honestly can’t say enough about how great everyone was their. The employees and the locals who came in all make the experience top notch!

2nd time going and it’s still absolutely fantastic. Service is great, food is superb, beer selection has everything, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I review a lot of places from east to mid west across America and I honestly can’t say enough about how much I enjoy going here. You have to give them a try if you’re in the area! I will 100% be back next time I’m in town!
