Dark and mysterious restaurant visually but warm and pleasant inside. Service was friendly and quick. Pizza was good. When you order dine in pizza its a 12″ medium size so if you order it for yourself might have some leftovers. Worth checking out in Whitehorse.

G&P is a gem. The decor is elegant and tranquil, so you’re stepping out of regular life the moment you enter the dining room. The food is delicious and I’ve had the most wonderful service there.
Yesterday I went for brunch with a friend and we both enjoyed the shakshuka. It was flavourful, just the right size to be satisfying, and very reasonably priced. My friend exclaimed at how much she loved the coffee. Although it was simple drip coffee, it was rich and strong and she was delighted.
I also really appreciated the great music that was playing (Chet Baker as we were being seated) quietly enough so my friend and I could converse without strain.
One of my favourite spots for a meal or a drink!

Overall it was great. Ribs and steak was excellent. However the baked potato and ceaser was subpar. Service and atmosphere was great!

I had the Pork Porchetta (awesome) as well as the Mussels in white wine and Garlic (really great) one comment, all mussels should be open when served. 5 mussels were shut tightly. Chef should take a moment to ensure a person can eat them. My wife had the Chicken Souvlaki and the Escargot and they were both 5 star perfectly. The service was very friendly and fast. Maybe get rid of the push bell the chef is using and substitute with something more modern. No one likes to get dinged constantly sitting next to the chefs window. Small thing but I want the take it away at one point. It’s a bit old fashioned. You also have an awesome hostess!

In a town that is a little old and tired, this place was a breath of fresh air. The building is old but inside it’s an interesting mix of modern and old school vibe. Edgy and sleek. 1800’s prospector meets 1960’s Rat Pack lounge. Probably the edgiest places in whitehorse. And the food was good.

This is a Yukon Gem! Now under new ownership I can confidently say they have mastered the technique of the previous owner’s recipes. Pizzas are delicious as always with the great thick crust. Steaks are back on the menu and are well done for some, medium for others but either way perfectly cooked as you like.
Recently went there for my birthday and recent Christmas holiday get together, and it was consistently great each time.

We made a reservation for G&P tonight and enjoyed an absolutely lovely dinner for four – our food was great and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, it wasn’t at G&P, even though that’s where we had a reservation.
I called and booked a table for four the evening before and we arrived 5-10 minutes before our reservation. We waited around for 10-15 minutes while the staff wandered around looking into our reservation, to eventually come back to us and inform us that they had overbooked and weren’t able to honour it. Rather than a sincere apology and some sort of effort to make it up to us, we were simply shown the door and left to go find alternative plans.
Be wary of making plans to eat here – you might want to have a backup plan for your booking.

We came here for our last supper and sadly we’re quite disappointed with the food. Particularly the extremely dry Greek wedges. It’s quite sad when your air fried McCains wedges at home are better quality than a high class establishment. My beef tenderloin was decent, but let’s be honest.. it’s pretty tough to screw up a tenderloin. Unfortunately, Daddy’s rib eye tasted like a dog toy one could buy for a golden retriever.
The server was a wonderful lady. Lighting to the establishment was warm and inviting.

Wow. What an unexpected treat. Very impressive atmosphere that was both classy, and if you were there for a date, romantic.
I had awesome service from the bartender, Meagan, and she recommended what turned out to the best pizza I’ve ever had.

We were excited to dine here after hearing good things but unfortunately left with a big bill and unsatisfied. We got the prawns and spinach dip as appetizers and both were good! We had mains of a chicken skewer with Caesar salad and a ribeye steak with potato wedges. The chicken was good but even with requesting extra dressing for the Caesar salad it was still dry and bland. All I could taste was lettuce and the shredded parm on top. The ribeye was chewy and bland with 1/3 of the steak being all fat. Nobody asked us how the food was; hence why I’m writing this review vs bringing it up while I was there. The water tasted dusty and then we saw all the dust on the sides of the wall. When leaving we looked into the kitchen and noticed every thing from chicken, steak and bread all being cooked on the same flat top grill amongst each other. We will not be returning.
