Big smoker along with the truck just for the BBQ to taste like liquid smoke. There was plenty of watery liquid that would drip from the meat in the tacos I ordered yet it was still dry?
The house made taco shells aren’t taco shells they’re closer to pita bread… which is odd to say the least.
Also ordered a pot pie to go and he said “give some time in the oven and its good to go” assuming it would be cooked and you should reheat it in the oven. He hands me the pot pie and its ice cold and raw…. took 40 minutes to cook at home and it wasn’t bad but BBQ sauce flavored chicken was not yhe best move either.
I wanted to like this place so bad but it just wasnt worth the cost. $19 for 3 tacos that were on pita bread with soggy dry meat and home made sauces that came out chunky.
The man who runs it is incredibly nice but the BBQ unfortunately doesnt match…

Had the pulled pork tacos and chili both were excellent. The fresh cut fries hit the spot. Will be back to try the smoked wings.

Everyone needs to try this place!!! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere!! The food was even better! We got the potato bombs, brisket tacos, and brisket Mac and cheese!!! Everything was homemade and the sauces topped it off!! We even got a sample of their pizzas and just wow!! Highly recommend and will be back!!!

We wanted to love it! However, the ribs were so fatty. The “burnt ends” weren’t burned ends at all. They’re supposed to be crisp on the outside and tender inside, but they were just rubbery and awful. Almost $70 spent, and we ended up getting pizza.

Delicious . The pulled pork egg rolls amazing. The sauce that came with it I wished they had it bottled I could have used more. The brisket cheese sandwich omg… couldn’t finish a whole one. Stacked with brisket. My first time visiting this food truck and can’t wait to go back to try everything on the menu. Nice woman at the window. Service great.

Currently stuffing my face with the brisket, Mac and fries. The flavor is phenomenal! Some of the best brisket I have ever had. The cherry smoked bbq sauce and home made ketchup are excellent as well. I highly recommend this gem!

The Country Road Chef is absolutely amazing! First of all, the food was amazing! Secondly, we were renting at an Air BNB in the area and there was a huge unprecedented thunderstorm/possible tornado that came through the area. We had placed an order right before for pick up and called to tell them we wouldn’t be able to get it due to downed trees and flooding. The owners brought the food themselves at closing and walked past the downed tree to get to our rental to bring it to us! Above and beyond customer service. We had just arrived and had not even been able to get to the grocery store. We highly recommend them!

The food was so delicious!
We had burnt ends, mac-n-cheese with bacon chunks, wings with a variety of sauces, and brisket beefsteak. So good.
The fellow was especially nice and welcoming.
Loved the country atmosphere.

For take out from a food truck, pretty damn good. Great flavor. However.
I know brisket is a little fatty, but after 3 tries. It’s fatty! Awesome flavor. But need to trim to much. 2 tries on the ends. To well done. There sauces are absolutely great. Hope they can improve on those. They’re nice guys with an awesome smokey flavor and hope they can adjust. I will keep trying
