I ordered the Orange Chicken combo and Crab Rangoon for takeout, with a total of around $17. The restaurant was neat and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The Orange Chicken, made with real orange zest, was flavorful, juicy, and savory. The fried rice that came with it had just the right amount of smokiness, and everything was cooked to perfection. Nothing tasted like old grease; everything was fresh. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Thanks!

Haven’t ordered from here in awhile. Ordered broccoli and tofu, 2 orange chicken lunch orders and wings. Received black pepper tofu with mixed vegetables, pork fried rice instead of steamed rice with the orange chicken and the wings were the small flats and drums or something weird. We had to go back and they did correct the order but, the person that takes the order over the phone needs to be trained again or actually listen to what is being ordered. Orange chicken was good, tofu and broccoli in brown sauce was good, the black pepper tofu was ok. Fried chicken was flavorless. We did not receive the soup that comes with the lunch menu but at that point we just decided to not even bother. Not a good experience overall but will try again. Will not call order in though.

We have not eaten here in 2 years. And it was great. We went in and ordered it was ready in 15 minutes, and it was worth it. The food was hot and freshly made. I got the sweet and sour chicken combo, and my husband got the Happy Family. The inside of this place is very run down and not for a sit-down meal.

Went in to order take out. The person taking orders was on the phone, so I waited a bit. Friendly and polite. Ordered pork Mei fun, sweet sour pork, and fried dumplings. All was cooked to order and was good, hot, and flavorful.

It would have been 5 stars forever just for the beef sticks…but the recipe changed and that’s what my son and I go for. Please change the recipe back. I thought it might have been a bad batch, but I just had a conversation with my uncle who I showed the beef sticks to and he said his were funky a few weeks later…we loved them. Now they taste weird, and 3 hearts are broken. Please go back to the old recipe
THE BEEF STICKS ARE FIRE AGAIN!!

This is a nice “hole-in-the-wall” type establishment! Great options, affordable price, generous portions! We loved the bourbon chicken and the wonton soup!

This establishment makes good food; however, their Customer Service is terrible. I placed an order 5 days ago, one of the items I ordered was missing. I called to report it. I live 20 minutes away and was already home for the evening and didn’t want to drive back. I asked for a Credit. She acknowledged that the item was missing (Lo Mein Noodles) took my Name and last 4 of my phone number. I went today to pick up the food I was supposed to be credited along with additional food I ordered for dinner. She rang me up for the missing item, I informed her that I should not have been rang up for that item since I had already paid for it previously but never got it. She acknowledged that she spoke with me but asked if I brought my receipt. I told her no. I gave her the last 4 digits of my phone number to confirm that I spoke with her. She found the note she took that was taped behind her plexiglass window and said no receipt no free food. I said I paid for it and never got it that’s why I called, and you wrote down the credit. She rudely barked by order total and said no receipt no replacement food. As a means to not make a scene and the fact my family was waiting in the car I said I should get my credit. She spoke over me then was shouting about me to her cooks. I paid for the whole order including the item I previously paid for but never received and I told her I won’t be back!

I will never order from here again. They lack Customer Service skills! Speaking over and shouting rudely at customers is unacceptable. I will no longer recommend this place due to that alone!

I ordered 3 bourbon chicken and the Chinese guy says 46 bucks, I give him 50 bucks he yells loudly it’s 46 and hands me my money back. He says you want lunch combo instead I say sure. He says 28 and I give him 30 and he yells 28 again. At this point I yell I gave you 30. The food isn’t bad but dealing with him is dealing with an idiot. No thanks. Hes needs to hire a cashier. Ill go elsewhere.

The food from Hot Wok tasted amazing! I enjoy Chinese carry-out. There was so much flavor in our food. It was better than my favorite Chinese restaurant back home in St. Louis, Missouri! We definitely plan to stop here on our next visit to Michigan. Generous portions, too.
