Atmosphere feels like a modern, new-age diner. The employees were exceptionally friendly and genuinely cared about the experience. It was really cool having a station where you could add just about any topping imaginable to your sandwich or soup.
I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was excellent, along with the chili—flavorful, not spicy, and just right. I visited on a cold day, and they happily accommodated my request for a Baileys and coffee.
If you’re in downtown Lexington, I highly recommend this place.

Got there at 10 am and had about a 30 minute wait (which was the estimated wait time when I checked in so no surprise). Very popular at breakfast, and for good reason. I got fried eggs, home fries, thick smoked bacon and biscuits with sausage gravy. My wife got the French toast and smoked bacon on the side. I asked our server, Chelsea, what she liked on the menu and she said their biscuits were great–and they were. Food was plentiful, hot and super delicious. Chelsea was fantastic and the entire staff was super friendly! This is the place for a superb traditional country breakfast and they also serve Belgian waffles and crepes. My wife has already decided on a crepe breakfast next time we’re in town. Our new favorite breakfast place in Sevierville!!

LOVE the atmosphere, we visited during a busy lunch rush and the owner was behind the counter. Even though it was busy, he was still so friendly and personable with everyone. He had a quick but pleasant conversation with us and showed us where to get our toppings and condiments. The pickles must be homemade cause WOW they were perfect. Absolutely lovely visit and we will be back!

What’s the very nice restaurant to go to. We went for the first time, and actually enjoyed the peace and quiet. The Food was decent and the service was amazing. We’ll definitely be going back to try something different.

We stopped by after we went to get our marriage license and the owner made us feel right at home. The food is amazing and the service was even better. Truly an amazing place. The owner even made these special burgers with a heart on them! We have decided to come back yearly for our anniversaries, back to where it all started !

I have been eating at Sawyer’s for years. They have the best burgers in the state in my opinion. I drive to Lexington specifically to eat here and Jim and his staff always greet my husband and I with warmth and cheerfulness.
