Store is typically clean. But the star of the show is Andres. The man cooks pizza perfectly. From they way the pizza is assembled, to the cook, tho the finish amount poured. I’ve been to this location many times, but Andres is the only one who makes the perfect pizza!

The Pizza here is great! Always clean inside. I removed a star because I enjoy having chili peppers on my pizza and it is very hard to find the topping in the restaurant. The pepper is always sitting in a table where it was left at but the last time I went there was none.

We usually have a great experience here, but we recently placed an order online which included a half pizza with veggies. When we arrived home and opened the box, we found something completely different from what was ordered. Due to dietary issues, we couldn’t eat the pizza. I called for a refund and was advised I should receive one in a few days. The person on the phone was very kind and understanding.
I have no issues with the pizzas or customer service here. The pizzas are made well and taste great, but if you place an order online, just open your box at the restaurant to make sure the pizza you ordered is what is in the box. That way, you won’t be disappointed when you get home.

Delicious pizza This place is always clean, well stocked and has the hardest working staff. Shot out to Jasmine and the Saturday night staff! They are the fastest, most reliable pizza makers in the building! They ALWAYS manage to be cheerful despite the line of starving patrons.

My kids love this place, but I don’t get it: Service is always slow, pizza is mediocre for an oven cooked pizza and the atmosphere is ridiculously loud.

Blaze Pizza in Otay Ranch area has a great location in that it is close to tons of shopping and other areas of interest. Very easy to stop in for a bite to eat. The restaurant has a good setup for customers to customize their own pizza with the various toppings available or order from their menu. The pizza was good and we really enjoyed the various lemonades and non-carbonated drinks they had available.
Blaze Pizza would have been a solid five stars in my opinion, however in the 30 minutes we were there none of the staff stepped away from behind the counter to clean the seating area. There were only 4 or 5 places to sit at lunchtime that were not either dirty or previous customers had left food and/or trash on the tables. Overall, fair experience, but the restaurant management needs to get a handle on the cleanliness of the restaurant.

The staff working tonight are amazing. My child is in his Pokemon phase and they were willing to create his special request. My husband also mentioned pizza reminded him of his trip to Italy. Thank you to all the staff that served us tonight.

I ordered 2 Med pizzas. Unfortunately the toppings were mixed up. The delivery order slip attached to the box was correct but the pizzas inside were not. My daughter cannot have pesto and hates pineapple so I had ordered one pizza with both those items and the other without; which again the order slip showed correctly; but someone didn’t read the order and my daughter could eat neither pizza as pineapple was on one and pesto on the other. Also I had ordered spinach on one pizza and basil on the other. Both pizzas had about 3-4 leaves on them. Yes this means that half the slices had ZERO spinach or basil. Unfortunately I couldn’t call to complain because they were delivered just short or 9pm when they close. I will call tomorrow though. To top this off I had also requested napkins and parm cheese NONE of this was with my order. To add insult to injury the pizzas were not even slightly warm they were cold. I’ve ordered from other places and from blaze in the past and had to wait before I could eat them for them to cool they were so hot. Not this time. Very disappointed. Unsure if i will give them another try.

First time here. Hoping it was going to be great, but it was a horrible waste of time and money. Go somewhere else dont go with the trend or follow the hype, it will be a waste of your time and money. They need to clean their pizza oven.
We still ate the pizza, didnt complain but will not be returning. Hopefully they will take my comments and use it to be better and do better.
SERVICE: First we stood in line to place an order and when we realized we wanted order another pizza the lady that we had to get her attention couldnt understand what I was trying to do. Afterwards we sat down and waited for our name to be called, but unfortunately this other lady would use her indoor voice and would only call names out one time. Pizza boxes were stacking up aside from mine which was apparently done but I had to ask if my name was called which apparently was called.
FOOD: We ordered 4 pizzas Double Pepperoni, Meat Eater, Barbecue Chicken and White Top. All four were burnt on the bottom with barely any sauce. We were eating at a booth and you can see smoke inside the pizza oven, which is a sign that it needed to be cleaned. Pieces of burnt bottoms of each pizzas would be left be hind only to be burnt more and stick with the next pizza being made. Crispiness was good but needed more of everything else.
ATMOSPHERE: Seemed like a good lively place.
WISHFUL THINKING: Staff needs to be retrained. Myabe have a computerized sign showing your food is ready so it wont get cold while you are wondering if your food is done. Maybe even just have staff speak up when calling out names and recall names if the pizza hasnt been picked up.

This place was really neat. I loved the individualized pizzas. The menu items were interesting. I picked the veggie pizza and it was fantastic.
The atmosphere is casual, loud and busy. Seating may be limited during busy hours. The staff were polite, friendly and hard working. They seem to have a great team dynamic which adds to the atmosphere.
Probably will visit again!
