i went in last time and we asked for crema on the tacos and it was so drenched you couldn’t even see anything on the food like they were angry. food was watery and sloppy. got a burrito couldn’t even eat it. it was watery. didn’t have any of the things on the menu it said it came with. i also have gotten food poisoning from this place not sure why i even tried again after that. the sour cream was bitter. took two bites and was sick for two days. salsa bar isn’t even that good. the wait time isn’t great. rice and beans are pretty flavorless. was hoping better and kept trying here but it’s proven to just go downhill.

So enjoyed this newly opened taqueria. Outstanding crispness on their sope that still maintained a tender masa middle, salsa bar with unmatched variety and all of them flavorful (do try the arbol one that’s reminiscent of a chili oil), they have self serve chips, their chile relleno was made with clear care, house made tortillas, and I left a happy man. Fantastic addition to the neighborhood.

Those handmade tortillas and the sope took me back to my childhood. Delicious food! Inexpensive, and the service is phenomenal. I highly recommend this place.

This place is REALLY good. Probably the best taqueria I have been to in Sacramento! The adobada is well seasoned (got it in a burrito). The quesabirria comes with three stuffed tacos and the consumme was hella bomb! the Asada is good quality with no grissle/fat. Carnitas were very flavorful too!
There was 6 people in our party and we took the food to go. We only live about 2 miles away, but traveled home and held up well. The owner makes the tortillas fresh and they are delish!
It may be a small place that you wouldn’t look twice at, but if you don’t, you are missing out! I highly recommend this place!
