I had been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally got to last week and I liked it quite a bit. The food was very tasty (The Oven is better and anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves). The person serving up the food was kind as well.
It lost a star on my review because of the prices. It is expensive. Gas station, cafeteria style (not made to order) food shouldn’t be that expensive. There’s a great Indian food buffet in Omaha that’s cheaper than a full order here… I know people really like it, and I liked it too but it won’t get added to my rotation because of the price unfortunately.
FYI there is one table to sit and eat at. Most people take away.

I hadn’t been here in years but finally got to visit again on a Friday afternoon. A small kitchen nestled within a gas station store, they have different Indian dishes each Friday. I got a half order of butter chicken and just about inhaled it. The freezer also has a wide variety of Indian dishes. With so few Indian restaurants in Lincoln, this is definitely worth a trip from the other side of town.

Hidden gem! I dare you to find better Indian grub at better prices. Anytime I’m on the SE side of town, I get excited to remember I can swing by Biji’s Best. Tucked into a unassuming gas station, Biji’s offers a rotating collection of hot meals that can be ladled out for take-away. Today’s selection was black lentils with perfectly cooked rice ($5.50 for a generous portion). Snagged a Mango Lassi from the fridge for a mere $3. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Give them a try!

I been here every Friday for the food and today is the worst because of the lady serving being cheap with food, $8 for 3 spoons of rice and 2 pieces of chicken (my friend gave me an extra piece of chicken because of how little my portion is). Beside that i said the full order is for someone else and she continues to pour sauce and chicken all over the rice made it all soggy instead of put it in the 2 spaces for it. The food is still fantastic tho, just the lady, please bring that one guy back to serving it!!!

I’ve never been to India and don’t know what authentic India food tastes like but this place is the best for me so far.
Compares with the Oven and Aroma. I like the taste of food here better!
Naan is soooo good, Tandoori chicken and Beef curry are so tasty too!

I thought I didn’t like Indian, but it turns out I’ve been looking in all the wrong places. Hidden in a gas station on Fridays in the best Indian I’ve ever had. It is worth the extra planning and travel. The samosas are life changing you have to try them. Also all the menus, online and in person have allergy information for each dish right next to it so you don’t have to worry. Absolutely Amazing!

Hands down the best Indian food. Ever since Mughils closed, finding good Indian food is hard to find. The samosas with the chutney sauce, the coconut shrimp curry with the rice, and the service is fantastic. I was at Valero to fill gas but food from a gas station this just hits different. Will definitely come back to grab and try more.

Amazing food! Food quality is always great. Sometimes the scoops are pretty small for the price depending on server. The food is decently expensive if you get a full plate, but the taste makes up for it. Definitely get the naan.
