I’ve been to other Freddy’s locations and was excited when I saw this one being built. I went on a Saturday evening with two friends. The staff member who took our order was very friendly. The prices were reasonable and the food came out fairly quickly. The double bacon burger was good as were the fries and onion rings–not stellar, but good. The problem was the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was very dirty. Tables were not wiped down or organized. One trash can was overly full. The drink station was very dirty. One of the restrooms was almost unusable it was that dirty. They must’ve been short staffed because nothing got cleaned during our visit. Oh the trash did get emptied. Unless things get better, we’ll end up going somewhere else or perhaps the drive-thru.

Such a charming spot! The burger was absolutely delicious — flavorful, and freshly made. The portion size was perfect, and the price was super cheap for the quality. Great value, friendly vibes, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

I don’t frequent Freddy’s often but I’ve never received undercooked food from them. It’s concerning that someone would serve undercooked onion rings. Things are expensive, even fast food this will be my last time at any Freddy’s.

The prime rib burger was fantastic but the communication was lacking. Dining room was very cold! We ate in, and quickly made our way to the car to warm up. Food is great, price is kind of high for fast food, and atmosphere / environment could be more friendly.

The only reason I was at that dirty restaurant was to pick up a Doordash order for my customer. The staff was so disrespectful I think I’ll keep my own business with Steak n Shake. It had already been a long day for my husband and I. Doordash is a side income for us.
The Hispanic man who I thought was on his break when I got there went behind the counter and just stared at me until realized he was waiting for me to tell him why I there. I looked at my phone to give the name on the order. He looked at the bag and then went to get this blonde teenage boy wearing a headset. He went to get the bag and two drink cups. I was looking at the order verifying everything and trying to memorize the drink order so I could put the phone away and carry everything. In a low volume the boy said he’ll get me a drink carrier and when he came back, he threw it at me. I said that a little rude and he and the other guy started laughing loudly at me. Watching me struggle out the door with my hands full. If I had done something wrong or been nasty first I’d understand their attitude. But after more than a decade in the retail world, I don’t see what I did to those young men?

We got to Freddy’s at 11:30 for lunch. The front doors were still locked. Only the side door was unlocked. Great first impression. The restaurant is a knockoff of Steak and Shake. Hamburger and fries were good. Chicken Tenders not as good as Canes. It is a burger place not a chicken place. Hers a major issue. At the drink station, iced tea had no lids on the large containers. See the picture. Anyone could pour something in them, sneeze in them, you name it. I believe a major health violation. They have Pepsi products but no Diet Mountain Dew. Overall, just an ok lunch.

Stopped by Freddy’s in Florence and treated myself to the Reese’s Royale Sundae. This masterpiece is pure dessert royalty: creamy vanilla custard, crushed Reese’s peanut butter cups, a generous swirl of actual peanut butter (hello, richness), and it’s all topped off with a fluffy dollop of whipped cream and a cherry like the crown it deserves.

It’s sweet, salty, smooth, and crunchy, basically a peanut butter cup’s dream vacation in custard paradise. Every bite had me ready to propose. If you’re in the area and your sweet tooth needs a throne to sit on, go get yourself a Royale. Freddy’s nailed it.

Update: I received a refund for my experience and a store credit roughly three weeks after my order date. I updated my review to ⭐⭐ and will consider updating again after my next visit. The area rep said they were working to improve things at this location. Best of luck!

Original Post:
After a number of errors inside the mobile app because of product availability, I was finally able to complete an order successfully. I received a confirmation with an estimated 8:08pm ready time. I get in the drive thru and they tell me I have to come inside to pick it up. I asked if that’s a new policy, “literally months” was the response from staff. I just picked up the same order via drive thru at the same location on Friday (it’s the following Tuesday). I come inside and wait another 30mins to actually get my food. They hadn’t pulled my ticket at the time I came in. They knew I was waiting in the lobby. I get a cup to get my drink – syrup is out on the Pepsi dispenser.

There were only three orders inside during this time. I notice another order get brought to a cart behind the counter nearly 30mins after I placed my order. I go back to the counter to check for mine. It’s on a cart (pictured) behind the counter but zero help or acknowledgement from the staff. I have to ask someone for my order and they turn around and ask someone else to come to the front and help me.

I check my order because of the already terrible experience and I’m missing the cheese sauce I paid extra for. ‍♂️

Zero apology for the service or the absolute mess in the store. The floors desperately need mopped and a ladder is leaned up against the wall just adjacent the front door. Nice fire hazard.

This location isn’t up to the standard I’ve come to expect from Freddy’s.

I visited this location as it was close to my hotel. I saw the negative reviews and wanted to see if it was as bad for me as it was for some of the others.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and a Pepsi and the wait wasn’t too long. Not exactly quick service but acceptable. When I received my food the top bun of the chicken sandwich was very soggy, so I asked for a new one. After I received it, the line cook came out to my table, apologized and offered to dress the new bun. Nice touch and professional.

Sure this place could use a few areas of improvement but the service was good and the food was on par.

Don’t be afraid to try this place if the negative reviews are driving you away

If ordered online for lunch, during the work week, it seems to be pretty accurate to the specific time requested. Be sure to go in, though; and not pick up through drive thru, per other reviews. However, it is a bit more of a wait if ordered inside.
I placed mine online and picked it up within a couple minutes of the time given. It was still very hot and fresh. I also appreciated the cashier letting me know my frozen custard concrete mixer was in the, “fridge.”
Yet, my co-workers order took a bit longer than seemed necessary for the number of people working behind the counter.
Overall, he and I both agreed the food was fantastic. I had cheese curds, a customized pretzel burger, and a regular concrete custard with hot caramel as the one topping, free with use of the app for the first time. He had a pretzel BBQ burger as it comes and an order of regular fries.
All the employees I encountered were very friendly and respectful. The dining area was clean and looked well maintained. Everything was well stocked and easily accessible.
