Absolutely amazing! I recommend eating inside much warmer, if you don’t mind a bit of a chill the patio is not bad.

The calamari mix with shrimp and fish was absolutely a 10/10 ! Everything was absolutely delicious!

S/o to our amazing waitress who was attentive and very accommodating we appreciate her so much!

Don’t wait please make a reservation!

I came here for dinner recently and had a pleasant time! This cozy Italian spot in Brooklyn is the perfect spot for a date night with it’s intimate and warm setting. Service here was pretty quick and very nice.

We ordered their olives, brocollini, and chicken liver to start and their seafood pasta, oxtail ragu, and wild boar ragu for mains. Everything was delicious. I loved their chicken liver and thought that it was a great pair with their olives, bread, and brocollini. I was pleasantly surprised by their wild boar ragu as it was so flavorful and didn’t taste gamey at all (sometimes wild boar does). Overall, great spot for some pasta and I would love to come back!

Very pleased to have found this place. We didn’t have a reservation on a busy Saturday night, but luckily there was a cancelation and we got a table. Service was fast and friendly. Our group tried the 2 specials: the meatball appetizer and oxtail risotto as an entree, while others tried some of the pasta dishes from the regular menu. Everyone was happy. I had the mushroom paparadelle–pasta was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were very fresh. Would definitely visit again.

Great atmosphere, gives cozy Italian vibes. The pasta was clearly homemade and the sauce was absolutely amazing. I only wish that there had been a bit more oxtail on it.

Been here 3x, really solid food. The rigatoni alla Norma is by far my favorite thing to get and it’s amazing. The fried seafood app is also really great and perfect to share

Amazing local Italian spot complete with dimly lit ambiance and the BEST tiramisu I have had (and that is coming from an Italian). The pasta is homemade and delicious. I love the pasta with the eggplant. Attentive and knowledgeable servers. In the warmer weather, there is a really cute patio too 🙂

We visited Macosa Trattoria based on my sister’s recommendation–she’s a regular and loves the place. So while we were in Brooklyn, we decided to check it out for dinner.

The restaurant is cozy and intimate, with limited space. We were seated right up front at a four-top, and the staff kindly added a chair for our party of five. Our drink orders were taken right away, and we started with a few appetizers: burrata, some bread with olive oil and balsamic, and a few extra pieces of bread for the table. Everything came out fairly quickly, including the drinks.

For entrees, two people ordered the oxtail ragu, one had the oxtail entrée, and my son went with a penne dish that was the closest thing to buttered pasta–a solid choice for a kid. I skipped a main and grazed off the apps and sampled bites from everyone else’s plates. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I especially liked my espresso martini, and the burrata was a standout.

Just a heads-up: portions are definitely on the smaller side–not your typical hefty American-style servings you’d find at a chain restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was nice.

Overall, I thought the food was good, but the menu felt a bit limited. If I lived in the neighborhood, I could see this being a regular go-to spot. But as a visitor, I think I’d want to explore more options before circling back here.

We love this place. Such a great vibe. Fantastic food every time. And the cocktails are truly superb. They are real standouts. The bartender, Mitch is the best. He is making innovative, tasty cocktails that are well crafted with good, fresh ingredients.

Amazing local italian trattoria, Manhattan-level food, service and atmosphere. All of their pastas are delicious, and frutti di mare appetizer is also really good. Been here maybe 10 times and it was excellent every single time. Thank you to the workers and the owner who make this place happen.

I had dinner here on Sunday with two friends and the service was bad. The host sat us near the door which we specifically asked not to do on our reservation. Then the antipastos took forever to arrive. To top it off the manager with the glasses screamed at our waitress to clear our plates before we even finished the pastas. Terrible atmosphere in here. Maybe other nights are more pleasant but hard to imagine being worth $40 per person.
