Absolutely, unexpectedly fantastic! We have now had the meatball casserole, lobster ravioli and three different pizzas and everything was delicious. Definitely our new go-to for Italian in Forney. Can only give a couple of stars for atmosphere, because it isn’t what you “want” from an Italian restaurant, but the location at the OC is perfect and you don’t go for the atmosphere.

I have heard rave reviews of this place and we decided to splurge and try it tonight. The young man at the front who took our order was kind. They ran out of large boxes, so they put the pizza in a medium box, but that wasn’t a big deal- he gave a slice of cheesecake as a gesture, which was appreciated. The pizza however, had so much flour it literally covered your hands as you ate it. The chicken had great flavor, but the dough was such a miss. It was hard and dry, almost inedible. The cheesy bread was a let down as well. We won’t return, unfortunately.

Tony Pizza is a new spot in town, tucked inside what feels like part school, part indoor mall at the OC. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, and I really hope more people discover it—maybe an influencer or two could help spread the word!
The pizza itself is excellent. I actually prefer it over other pizza places in the area. The crust is thin, crispy, and just how I like it. The prices are also super reasonable—around $16 for a large supreme. The menu is simple and to the point, which I appreciate.
You can watch them make your pizza right behind the counter, which adds a nice touch to the experience. Our order came out quickly, and everything was fresh.
That said, the service could use some improvement. The person taking orders wasn’t very friendly, and I saw a customer come back with the wrong order but get dismissed without an apology or any attempt to make it right. It seemed like the owner might have been nearby, but the counter person didn’t check in or try to fix the issue. A bit more training—and maybe a warmer touch in customer service—would go a long way.
Still, Tony Pizza has great potential, and I’d absolutely come back. With a few tweaks, this place could really take off.

TRY IT! YOU’LL LIKE IT! Great food & great experience! We placed a to-go order via phone. 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, 2 salads. The student that took my order was pleasant, helpful and well spoken. He estimated the order would take 30minutes. Even though they were very busy Friday night, the order was ready in 30 minutes! Everyone loved the food and has asked about TONY’S at the OC!

I got a cancellation message from DoorDash 20 minutes after placing my order saying that the store was closed. It’s Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Also, the dasher was already headed there which wasted their time. Please adjust your time if you’re closed to prevent everybody from wasting their time. My kids were hungry and this definitely prolonged our wait for lunch as we had to figure out another option.
