food was very pricey I ordered nachos without pico and they brought me my appetizer 25 minutes later covered in onion… waitress was inattentive despite it being a slow Thursday at lunch time. My sandwich 20$ with kiddie fries was underwhelming my wife had a 40$ steak which was actually good. I won’t be coming back not worth in my opinion….

If I could give this no stars that would be too much. My daughter and I just left there after sitting and waiting for over 3 hours. We were sat right by the front door to the left. We watched every person come in, whole families come in and leave before we even had our entrees. When we finally got our appetizers my daughter then had to ask 3 different people for a simple side of ranch. 2 hours of sitting just to order our entrees. And then we waited another hour for our food. She waited until the restaurant was almost empty before even bringing our food. She charged $35.00 for a 12OZ steak the menu said was $32 and then said I got 2 sides and to pick another besides the baked potato and charged $3.95 for the second side. The total was $108 dollars and we asked for them to be put in Togo containers and when we received our food it was all smaller than my hand. Like kids menu size. I shouldn’t have left the $10 dollars I left. She then completed at the host stand so I don’t even know if her name was Ashley or if that was the hosts name. It felt like absolute racism since we were the only 2 white women in there in a room full of Hispanics. I’ve worked in bartending and serving so I get it and I don’t think I’ve ever left less than 50% but this was beyond ridiculous and I could not excuse it. 10 out of the 10 I don’t recommend.

Food was delicious! Chips and salsa served prior to our meal. The salsa was good and spicy too. Loved it. The serving of chips was pretty small for three grown men though. I had the double trouble burger. It was fantastic! The fries were good to, but again kind of a small portion for the fries. The beer was cold and not over priced. Our server (cant remember his name) had a great sense of humor and did a great job. It was a pretty busy night (Saturday college football) and our server managed all his tables well.

Giving this a 4-star rating because I feel like it’s under-rated (amongst other Pecos restaurants).
My husband and I spent the night in Pecos and wee looking for a “good” place to eat.
This was the 2nd choice for us, as our first choice (based on convenience only as it was located next to our hotel) was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We had zero expectations based on the reviews but needed to eat, so headed to the restaurant.
It was a Sunday night and, to our pleasant surprise, found the place to be packed!
I chose the Cajun chicken sandwich (sans pico) and my husband went with the basic burger.
We were both very pleasantly surprised! Our dishes were perfectly cooked (yeah – cuz our expectation was they would be hockey pucks), the chicken/meat seemed to be fairly fresh (double yeah!) and both actually had some flavor to them. … And the fries were hot!!
And our server was very attentive!
The only downside is that they only serve beer (and the first 2 I wanted they were out of!).

Our server tonight was BEYOND slow, literally didn’t know anything about the menu. Never got refills. I tried to order several different beers, they were sold out of every single one..
Our appetizer and entree’s cane out at the same time..
Our steak was suppose to come with a potato. It didn’t. We asked for one and it came out plain – literally nothing on it. I asked about any kind of topping. She was like “idk, let me go ask” bro.. what do you know at this point..? She came back to tell us any toppings are extra.. for a $40 steak ?!
Then she tried charging us $3 extra for the potato when it was supposed to come with the steak to begin with.
Oh and we stacked up all of our dirty plates, ready go, while she sat up at the counter eating..

I absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and the service our waitress Daszia was very sweet and attentive. She made sure we had everything that we needed and made sure our drinks stayed full. I would definitely recommend her as your server. She definitely made the experience a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!

Ordered a cajun chicken sandwich with fries got it with in 5 mins of ordering it was kinda surprised I got it so quick. It was ok but not worth $15 considering you get a regular size hoagie bun cut in half with a piece of chicken on each half that didn’t even cover each bun definitely disappointed will not order that sandwich again and you get a small amount of fries …DEFINITELY NOT A $15 Meal
