Great place for tea and coffee, although tea is most definitely their ‘special-tea’. Great selection of teas, and flavor was very fresh. Quaint indoor seating area, with plenty of seating on front and back porch.
There are plugs inside for charging, but it can be busy at peak times and noise level is high.
AMAZING scones with clotted cream. You can’t go wrong with a classic English breakfast and scone with clotted cream. Other patrons mentioned the sandwiches were very good.
All of the tea is available to buy per ounce, though fairly expensive, but some of the flavors are well worth it. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the Crystal River area.

I gave this 4 stars because it’s a small local business and I like to support them,otherwise it would be a three. The teas are 100 percent legit and tasty. The food lacks anything to write home about. I had the turkey panini. The chicken salad my friend had looked good. It had nuts, which I don’t care for. Nice selection of desserts. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

I stopped by during the manatee fest and I’m so glad I found this quaint cafe. The interior is charming, the service is warm and friendly, and the tea drinks are high quality. We also got the roast beef sandwiches that were great.

Place look lovely, but definitely as a tea house place has no knowledge about making macha tea. I saw the store sells matcha whisks (chasen). But they don’t use it to make matcha for customers. They warming up the milk in the microwave and using frother wand. Can’t say anything about Quality of matcha itself, because you can’t taste it, you can’t even see it in the color. Definitely change the way of making it or just don’t serve it. Very disappointing for my first time there. 6.50$ for this should be a crime

Tea House 650 is such a cozy gem in Crystal River! After a morning swim with manatees, I was looking for something close by and comforting — this place delivered.
It’s located inside what feels like a converted home, with a relaxed, welcoming vibe and incredibly friendly staff. I ordered avocado toast, an iced pumpkin chai latte, and a pineapple-coconut-white chocolate scone, then enjoyed everything out on their peaceful back porch.
The chai was flavorful, the toast was satisfying (though I like mine extra crispy), and that scone? Absolutely the highlight — warm, soft, and full of tropical flavor.
Great food, kind people, and a relaxing space. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!

Great selection of loose leaf teas. They also have themed tea blends for each season. This would be a nice place to sit with friends or to get some work done, indoor and outdoor patio tables. I’ve enjoyed all of my experiences at the Tea House!

The service was great . They have both inside and outdoor dining areas in the front porch and back porch. We sat in the back porch with our fur baby , very nicely kept outdoor area. The inside is very clean and has a nice warm home feeling, bathroom is also very clean. I ate the quiche with the chicken and rice soup it was all sooo delicious served nice and hot and tasted fresh. Also had the Pumpkin scone, and a Dates and Pecan scone all scones were made fresh and still warm when I ate them. To drink I had the hot Pumpkin Chai latte. Everything that I ate was delicious, and fresh very comforting.

While I haven’t been able to visit in person YET since I’m in North GA, but I hope to be able to visit one day. I found this place online because I was looking for a specific jasmine tea. This was the only place that sold it (that I could find) within the U.S.. I could order direct from Hong Kong or from places in Canada, but no one was selling it stateside, except this place. So I took a chance and placed my first order many months ago. The tea was shipped the same day I placed the order and it arrived in a few days. It is called Jasmine Golden Dragon and it is the best tea I’ve ever had in my life. It’s like drinking sweet smelling jasmine flowers. Just amazing flavor. As you can imagine, I went through the original 2 bags I bought, so I saved the sticker and went online and ordered from them again. Again, it was shipped the same day I placed the order and it arrived a few days later. I got a tin this time. The Jasmine Golden Dragon was again, amazing. And it’s a green tea, so I can drink it at night (no caffeine)!! They have so many teas to choose from online, but I am scared I am going to get something I don’t like. So I’ll have to wait until I can visit in person to try others. Now that I have made 2 purchases and received the BEST customer service, I knew I had to find them on google and leave a good review. I wish them much success in their tea business.

Tea House is one of the best places Iv been in Crystal River it’s this sweet little cottage looking house that inside are the best people and the best food and TEAS! Lori, Marisa, Rilee and all the girls were EXCEPTIONAL! They treaded us like royalty lol we laughed and talked and the environment makes you wanna stay! From the cute place to the little shop inside it just compels you to keep coming back! We loved that they let us smell the teas and have samples before purchasing the tea lattes were OUTSTANDING! I recommend this place and do yourself a favor and GO!!! Plus, the inexpensive things they have for sale!
