First and foremost I frequently eat here. The servers at this place are something else, Everyone here is tired of working. They are mean and they seem to be on something. I ordered the same ribeye steak medium well, lady didn’t even right down my order, only to bring me a burnt meat and says that’s how asked. Rude to the core. This servers needs to be thought humanity. We are here to pay for our service. I did end up tipping, most people won’t, I don’t repay evil for evil, hopefully they start treating other people better and really start making money for the community. And that my friend is a $42 steak.

I parked across the street from this place for the weekend. I was really looking forward to watching the Boots Ennis fight, (but all they had playing was that UFC Speedo fighting), get some grub, and throw a dollar or two into a slot machine so I moseyed on over around I’d say 6:00 p.m.?
The whole venue itself is pretty big. Including this restaurant, they have another restaurant called ‘the hub’ which is for more like teeny boppers and families, a bowling alley, a movie theater, a sports bar and of course slot machines and table games.
It cracks me up when people write bad reviews complaining about a casino that smells like smoke. IT’S A FRIGGIN CASINO! You don’t like the smoke (which dissipates very fast anyways) then don’t go into a casino! Anyhow I digress let’s get to the restaurant.
I wasn’t aware that they closed at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. But most native American casinos have weird hours and do weird things (trust me I’ve been to plenty all over the country). But as I sat down at the bar, my less than happy, emphatic waitress/bartender asked me if I would like to order something to drink, which I said yes, and I wanted food also and she said ‘well we close in 20 minutes so’.. I felt a rush to get me out of there. I didn’t feel very valued at that point. But the reason for the fourth star is because all the other bartenders and servers stepped in and were super super nice. Especially the one girl bartender that was bringing me drinks to my machines and blackjack table. And I did sort of eat in a rush because I felt pressured.
One gripe, is when I was ready to get my check, I was just sitting there for about 10 or 15 minutes. A couple of the other bartender / waitresses ask me who my server was, and I looked around and didn’t see her. So I told them I wasn’t sure. About 6 or 7 minutes later comes out of the back and says “sorry I was on break”. Well you guys are closing in literally 5 minutes, so exactly why are you taking a break if you’re about to leave? That kind of upset me but whatever.
I ordered the rib plate, with a side of okra. It came with a roll, and a dinner salad which is actually really really good size. I ordered fried pickles as an appetizer.
My salad came out almost immediately, so I scarfed that down, then about 20 minutes, my appetizer and entree came together. My waitress said “sorry they cooked them at the same time.” But I didn’t really care, considering apparently they were getting ready to close.
The fried pickles were super good, and there were a lot for the price. Actually cost wise, it was a lot of food for what I paid.
The fried okra was typical, it was good and hot and they even had a bottle of Louisiana Red Dot which is a MUST for southern food. The ribs….
The ribs I think are steamed, then baked with barbecue sauce, and then another layer of barbecue sauce. Of course they were tender and the bones came right out, and tasted overall okay. If I ever came back I would probably order it again, especially if I was a regular.
All in all I had a great experience at this place. Everyone from the bar staff to The pit Boss, for the exception of my bartender/waitress at supper we’re all super nice, especially the maitre d who greeted me immediately upon coming through those glass double doors.
If I’m ever in Tonkawa again, I’ll DEFINITELY be going back!

Stood waiting to be seated for 7 minutes, wasnt even acknowledged by staff untill some guy I hadnt seen that entire time popped up and offered to seat us. Food was super expensive $35 for a 10oz sirloin (i get 2 at Applebee’s for that price). The tables were small and dining area very small. The food itself was fine, if you dont mind adding your own salt.

The servers, the waiters and the waitresses were great. They’re excellent. They make sure everything was at the table and make sure you your drinks for full the food, though that’s another story should take a picture of it to put it on here. Have you not just a basic hamburger? You know, there’s not much. You can really mess up on a hamburger. I wouldn’t think this thing was smashed. Flutters in a pancake blacker than the Ace of spades. I’m thinking that it came with French fries. Cause most hamburgers do. Then asked for a sight. I was looking on there, thinking that fries would be an option but they weren’t so I assumed that fries would come with the meal but they didn’t so I got The Onion. I got The Onion rings stinking the fries were going to come with it, but there was no fries, The Onion rings were completely burnt. They were very thin and the batter they use is completely trash. We got set a table in the corner at the corner booth, there’s no light in it. I had to use my phone just to read the menu. The atmosphere seems kind of gloomy. Definitely not coming back and I gave it a one star. I gave the waiters the service. I gave it a 5 star atmosphere. I gave it 2 stars just because it was dark and kind of gloomy. And just didn’t seem like a happy place to eat at very gloomy kind of depressing, really They definitely need to train staff.But when I say staff I mean cooks I mean to train them a lot better than what they do first time being here and very disappointed

I’m staying as a guest at the hotel in the casino used my comps to purchase fried okra, turkey blt on toasted wheat, and the soup, played 20 minutes used the restroom and returned to grill, only waiting 20 more minutes for them to find my order then was told it needed to be remade I wait an additional 20 more minutes only to return to my room and discover my soup is missing I go back down retrieve the soup and a salad for my troubles to go to my room there’s no silverware for the soup or salad the sandwich is soggy no bacon and too much turkey so the third time I went back to the grill for silverware need to say not an enjoyable experience.

Inside the middle of the casino, very good food with huge portions. Chicken fried sandwich was bigger than my hand and my 1/2 order of fried mushrooms over flowed the plate. Took a while to be seated but then service was fine. Not a place to take kids since it is inside the casino, but a great stop when hungry.
