Today is our second time here, and our second exceptional experience. Prior to our first visit, I read the one star reviews. In defense of Osteria Capri, this is a European restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and food made to a high standard not ordinary found at American restaurants. For this you’ll pay more, and be happy to do it. Marco, our server, greeted us warmly our second time here – this being a European tendency. They love return business. He was managing two large parties and three 2-tops, all with grace. He moved us to a quieter table to escape the noise level. I would tell you what we ate, but, I have confidence that you can’t go wrong. (The pizza is delicious but don’t expect it to be like your hometown pizza parlor.) This may become our weekly habit!

An absolute gem! I was immediately transported to Europe once I stepped in. Being greeted by the cheerful staff and taking in the wonderful view started our dinner on a high note. Our server was so helpful and the menu has a huge selection. I had an aperol spritz and the meatball as an appetizer. Delicious! For dinner, I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was cooked to perfection! For dessert i had the espresso martini and it was made with real espresso. Divine. I can’t wait to come back here and catch another sunset and create more lovely memories.

My fiancé and I recently dined at Osteria Capri with another couple, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
We made reservations for 7:00 pm, but when we arrived no one asked for our reservation or the time. The entrance area was extremely crowded and chaotic, and it felt very unorganized. It gave the impression that reservations really aren’t honored or even necessary.
Once we were finally seated, our waiter told us upfront to please be patient because he was the only one working that night. While we tried to be understanding, the service was very slow and we waited a long time for our food.
My fiancé and I ordered the short ribs, and our friends ordered the snapper. When the food finally arrived, all of it was cold. The short ribs also tasted more like roast beef and did not resemble short ribs at all.
The restaurant was also extremely loud. It was difficult to even have a normal conversation at the table because of the noise level.
In total, we were at the restaurant for over two hours and didn’t even order appetizers or dessert. For the price of the food, we expected a much better dining experience.
Unfortunately, based on this visit, we will not be returning.

We loved the food the setting and the view! Server was a bit rude until (i guess) the owner/manager heard what we were asking and approached and explained to us when during the year the Tartare is in the menu! So from that moment service improved!

We ate at Osteria Capri tonight. The food itself was really tasty, the pasta and sauces were good and you can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing.
Unfortunately the service really took away from the experience. Our server was pretty unfriendly and we ended up waiting a long time for part of our order because half of our meal was never brought out. We eventually had to remind her that we still hadn’t received it.
I’d go back for the food, but they seriously need to work on the service because it overshadowed what could have been a really nice dinner.

This is a must go restaurant. On the exterior does not look like much. Inside the atmosphere is upscale and romantic. Service impeccable and the food!! Authentic Italian dishes, wonderful craft cocktails and in horse made desserts. We will certainly return

Absolutely outstanding! Capri on Capri Island, Naples, is hands down our No. 1 restaurant in the area. The seafood pasta was out of this world – perfectly al dente, bursting with flavor, and loaded with the freshest catch. We had the pleasure of dining during a breathtaking sunset, which made the whole evening feel magical. A special shout-out to our server Marco, who turned a great dinner into an unforgettable experience with his charm, attentiveness, and passion for hospitality. This place is a must-visit gem!

Osteria Capri is truly a gem on Capri Island, Florida, and an absolute must-visit for Italian food lovers. From the moment you step in, you can feel the passion and dedication that AJ and his family pour into every aspect of this restaurant. Their commitment to excellence is evident in the welcoming ambiance, impeccable service, and most importantly, the food.
The menu showcases authentic Italian dishes with a modern twist, crafted from the freshest ingredients. Each plate is a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. From their pasta to the perfectly cooked seafood, every bite was a celebration of Italian culinary tradition.
A special highlight of the experience is AJ himself. Not only is he a gracious host, but he is also a true wine connoisseur. His recommendations for wine pairings were spot-on and elevated our meal to the next level. Don’t hesitate to ask for his advice—his expertise will leave you delighted and impressed.
Osteria Capri is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. AJ and his family have created a warm and inviting haven where food, wine, and hospitality come together in perfect harmony. If you’re on Capri Island, make this your top dining destination. You’ll leave with a full stomach and a happy heart!

Reserved a table outside but not available when we arrived. Food took forever to arrive. We were told because we didn’t order appetizers our order was delayed. We were then rushed to order desert. We were told to hurry because others were waiting for our table. With all the great options available in the area don’t waste your time and money on this place.

It is extremely rare for me to leave an unflattering review, but our experience demands it. We had dinner last evening for our anniversary, seated on the outdoor patio, the only guests at the time. The waiter was gruff, non-interactive and haughty. Case in point: we ordered the Caesar salad & he asked if we desired ground pepper. We said yes prompting him to execute one twist of the pepper grinder each and walking away! It seemed like we were an imposition as opposed to a valued customer. When not being attentive, he would do one of two things, sun himself or chitchat with fellow employees. Eventually, I mentioned to him that the patio was lovely, “Is it possible for us to come by for just a glass of wine some afternoon?” He blunted stated, “No, there is no happy hour, dinner starts at four.”, and walks away. Would you return to such an experience? We won’t.
