Prepare to be blown away! This place is a culinary gem that has truly mastered the art of barbecue. Liz, you’ve absolutely nailed it! The pulled pork is incredibly moist and bursting with flavor, quickly becoming my new obsession. I can’t recommend their special Pulled Pork Secret Sauce enough—it’s a perfect blend of vinegar, pepper, and an explosion of taste.

The burnt ends? Pure perfection, definitely a 10/10 that I’ll be ordering again. Combining outstanding BBQ with Mexican flair, this is the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again. If you had to choose a last meal, this would ensure you go out with a huge smile on your face! Highly recommended!

If you want fancy this isn’t it , but if your a lover authentic Tex mex BBQ this is your place . It’s a very relaxed atmosphere with a solid following . I had the Burnt ends with baked beans and the best battered fries this world has to offer. my wife had a really good cheese burger and garden salad. Our waitress was friendly and attentive . Everything was exactly as it should be and the house sauces were delicious . This place earned my business in a zillion different ways . I’ve been to allot of different BBQ places all over the country and this place is legit in all the right spots . Delicious down home cooking .

Been here many times the food is always great, love that they serve tortilla chips while you are waiting for your food. Had the special this time, it was pulled pork and enchilada with some side dishes too. The food was great and the portion sizes are nice and big!

If you want to enjoy some amazing BBQ, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. With great prices attentive friendly staff and a decor and atmosphere that will make you feel like you’re eating at your best friend’s mom’s house. Make sure to order the burnt ends for a starter. Highly recommend the Ribs and kielbasa combo!

Hadn’t been there in years.
A group of us went on a Saturday night, I had called ahead and made reservations. We arrived about 45 minutes early, I asked the hostess if she could seat us, and she said no problem and found my group of 4 a table.
The food was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly.
Definitely not waiting years to go back

This place is fantastic! Top quality food, friendly staff, and a gorgeous view on the drive here. The chicken wings are smoked, then fried & sauced, they are a must-try. I love the hot honey flavor but all are good. The BBQ offerings are excellent and so is the Mexican food!

The first time going, there is something of the hidden path, little place in the corner. We will be going back. You could really taste the smoked meats. Nice and tender.

Wood’s was always my favorite BBQ. I’d make the 53 mile trip once a year to treat myself. However, due to family obligations I haven’t been in 10 years. It was a major disappointment and I’ll never go back. I thought I lucked out since I didn’t have to wait for a table, but others must have realized the change too. First, there were so many flies (inside), landing on the tops of the open BBQ sauce bottles. Disgusting. I ordered the pulled pork and beef brisket platter with 2 sides. The waitress was pleasant & the food was out in about 15 minutes. The portion was generous & the pulled pork was good, but the brisket was literally 1/2 fat. The sweet potato fries were dry and cold and the sweet potato casserole was nothing special. Even the corn bread recipe changed since I was there last.
Finally, my plan was to order beef ribs, but they no longer had them on the menu. Bummer, but I did have nice weather & the area is beautiful. Just need to find a new place for ribs.

I’ve been twice in the last five years and both times I have said never again, the food is always most definitely reheated from days before. Nothings fresh, only stay in business because of locals who don’t travel more than 10 minutes away.
