Had some great food here! This is one of those gems that nobody knows about, and that should change.
Opened just before the Pandemic (great timing, right?), so bring some patience. The chef does just about everything, but he will take great care of you. He was born in Nigeria, educated in London, and has brought a melding of great flavors and excellent technique to the states!
The food is fantastic! Some of the best curries, the tacos are amazing, the wings have some fabulous African spices mixed in with a buffalo sauce. He doesn’t always have everything in stock, because as he says, if the ingredients don’t look good, he’s not going to buy them and not going serve them, but that’s part of the fun of this restaurant. He will spend time with you getting to know your tastes and help you pick the right items for you, then he will prepare it fresh.
Stop by and try it out.

The staff here are very friendly and professional, made me feel like home the first time meeting everyone. Every Item I’ve had here has been delicious, my favorite is Gizzard + Plaintain!

Definitely had a great time. It was our first time hosting a private party here and all of the experience was positive. I would definitely recommend this place, go on and talk to the owner he is very professional and friendly including the bartender that was there on 02/24 night up until closing.
I definitely appreciate you guys in letting us host there. The food was great! Hope to host an event here again soon!

I do not recommend. I’ve been wanting to try them out for a while and finally ordered dinner. I will not be going back. I ordered 3 dishes and I couldn’t eat any of them. First, nothing tasted fresh. It all tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge and reheated. Secondly, all the food were overly spicy with no flavor. I’m african and love my pepper, but i cannot get with food with no flavor masked by hot pepper. I was holding out hope for this restaurant because even though Aroma has delicious food, they’re overpriced. I hope they focus on improving the food.

This is a great spot for locals who want to unwind over drinks in a chill atmosphere. The food is a staple here with many offerings of West African cuisine. The staff warmly treats customers like their family. You’ll enjoy what feels like a good home cooked meal from a variety of tasty menu options.

Great food! I recommend trying some stuff you haven’t had before- the turkey bites are excellent, the plantain and gizzard was too! Fish and chips were on point.
The restaurant itself is really nice! Roomy, decorated nice.
We got takeout, which was great as well.
Don’t be scared by the prices, as the portion sizes are quite large! You definitely get your dollar’s value, but be prepared for leftovers.
One thing- menu selection is a bit confusing. The menu pictures here are honestly better, but there are a few discontinued items, or rotating items, so be prepared with a backup.

They were out of the first two menu items we chose, and it took a long time to get the food we ordered. The pasta I ordered looked nothing like the picture, even tho I asked if the menu item I was ordering was what was pictured on the menu. We won’t be back. **Their drinks were good, tho!! **

COME HERE. Stop scrolling through all of your other suggestions and come here! The food was above and beyond, I was absolutely flabbergasted, taken back, shocked, ratatouille moment fr fr. We had the Rice with Coconut curry and Ayamase stew. They were both extremely delicious. This may just become my local favorite. 10/10 will be coming here again.
