It was my birthday and my wife suggested Graysons. It was our first time dining here and the atmospheric calm washes over you as soon as you enter. Our server, Alex was knowledgeable and attentive to every detail. Her menu suggestions were spot on as we tried some of the chef’s specials that were unique to the restaurant and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for a date night that will be hard to beat. Our first visit but definitely not the last.

Hidden gem! I was here as a party of 4 for lunch (Mama Lucia’s) and for dinner (Graysons) as a different party of 4. Both times the service was impeccable and the food was delicious! It’s hard to find restaurants whose food is crave worthy begging you to comeback…this is the place. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and each table is in a comfortable position- not crowded, not loud, easy to enjoy time with your company. The service from being greeted, seated, waited on, and wished farewell was all done with pleasant charm. The menu has many delicious choices, the food was presented in an appealing way, and the desserts were amazing. They have some unique offerings. Each of us ordered something different and were pleased with our choices. My favorites so far are the salad with thin sliced apples, the peppercorn filet, and the house made cannolis. Perfect for a ladies lunch group, couples date, or dinner with friends!

Husband and I were looking for a nice place to celebrate our anniversary with a later dinner and came across Graysons. After looking it over, we decided to give them a try, and I’m glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was fantastic! His recommendations were absolutely spot on (highly recommend the sea bass) and his customer service was impeccable. He didn’t make us feel like a burden, didn’t begrudgingly serve us, was incredibly personable, helpful, and polite. One of the far better servers we’ve had in town. The food was fantastic and the drinks had SOLID pours. We had the pork belly, the delmonico steak, the sea bass (again, highly recommend it), the creme brulee, and 2 drinks, and everything was delicious. We left a little after they closed (we were enjoying ourselves so much and lost track of time), but they never rushed us or acted in any way that wasn’t friendly.
Overall, we def found a new place to go to when we’re looking for a nice spot with wonderful food and atmosphere. Check ’em out!

My husband and I made a reservation Saturday for our date night.. we don’t have them very much and wanted to do something special and try some place new. We googled places around and Grayson’s came up with really good reviews so we figured we would try it out we wanted some place quaint and romantic and the reviews said this was the perfect restaurant. We arrive and the staff are just fantastic! So sweet and helpful, the biggest issue was the atmosphere. We thought we were going to have a nice quiet romantic dinner and it was the opposite. We were sat next to a very obnoxious group of 3 men and a family of 4 who seemed to have a cold or something and the music was definitely not jazz. We order our food and receive it only to have to take a double look at what we got sat in front of us… my steak Diana kinda just looked like a brown mess and my husband’s seafood plate just looked unappetizing. I figured with such high prices and expectations the food would look amazing. But outside of looks my steak was cooked to perfection. If you are looking for something romantic I don’t believe this restaurant is it. The atmosphere was more like a regular steak house with fancy tables and decorations more than anything.

We took someone special out for a birthday dinner who specifically asked for a nice steak. Looking at the (mostly stellar) reviews, we settled on Graysons as first-time customers.

We were disappointed in the quality of the steaks and the à la carte sides. Some steaks came out rare, were sent back, then returned too quickly to have been grilled properly, and were served well done. We didn’t say anything and just ate them to save face.

The sides came out in the soup bowls, which, for the price, were too small for the typical steakhouse a la carte sides. Additionally, the brussels sprouts were overcooked and soggy, the au gratin potatoes were too clumpy, and the carrots were ok at best. We really wanted baked potatoes, but there were none to be had. What steakhouse doesn’t have baked potatoes even when listed on the menu? For each of us, we agreed that we would have eaten better at a typical steakhouse chain like Roadhouse or Longhorn.

However, the service was great, and our waiter paid excellent attention to us. Thanks to him for his hard work, and he was tipped >20% as if everything were perfect.

So I hadn’t left a review before as the wife and I were just not totally disappointed with their food until.last night. This is our third time, the first we were invited and though the food was nothing to write home about, it wasn’t horrible. The food was under seasoned but the steaks were cooked to our preference temp, which is leaps ahead of many places in town, but again no Bones, STK or Chops (been to these places many time, but they’re local).
Second time the steaks were ok, but crab soup wasn’t inedible. It had reduced so much it was saltier than a drink of ocean water.
Last night prompted me to write this. We were invited by a company for a sales pitch, and were like”what the heck free steak”, such a bad mistake. The bread basket was not the previous scratch made, but rather pre-made toasted bread which tasted like chemicals, secondly the petit filet was 2oz at best, and of such poor quality I can get a better filet from Kroger. The asparagus were so greasy and over done they were mush, and a semi-warm potato with ice cold butter and sour cream not warm enough to even melt the butter. To boot by the time we both got home we were felling nauseous and odd, we have been in and out of the bathroom all night and today, so not sure if freshness was an issue. Never again! This place is off the books for us.

Our dinner took place on a Saturday evening with four total people.

Seating was easy parking was convenient and the inside of the restaurant is very pleasing. When you enter, you meet the bartender who is incredibly helpful and knew the modifications to all of our drinks and completed them professionally.

When we were sat at our table, we were told our waiter had another party. He was wrapping up so we waited. My wife and I both worked in the restaurant industry for many years so we understand but the entire evenings service is much slower than we would’ve liked and we waited for almost 20 minutes to get our appetizers and then four minutes later. Dinner was served. Just shows poor timing.

We enjoyed our waiter and he was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. We don’t know what other table we had, but it was obvious that is where his attention was that evening.

Now for the review of the food. Every dish that we got (except for the steak) was sweet. I am so very dumbstruck as to why every dish had to have sugary sweetness in it. There was nothing overpowering about these but after a while, you just want to Savory flavors to come through on these dishes and everything was just slightly sugary. For Southern cuisine I know that we love our sugar in some most things but the seafood dish my wife got, and photographed, was almost too sweet to eat, and I have no idea why. My steak was outstanding and was the highlight of my meal.

The mixed drinks were fantastic and it were the only items on the menu that were very reasonably priced. I would absolutely go back for the bar service. Great selection of drinks!

Overall, it was a perfectly above average dinner. It wasn’t outstanding, just ‘good’. I definitely felt that the meal was overpriced for the quality of the food by about 20%. But that’s not a huge complaint just something that I think should be noted.

Great place to dine! My third visit to this restaurant location. My second visit, where I bragged and brought guest, wasn’t near as pleasant as the first visit but I’ve moved on. This time, the food was great, but when I got home to enjoy my desert I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a creme brulee. I was told that the pastry chef who created the chocolate hazelnut creme brulee was replaced. This desert was terrible and I ordered two of them. The creme brulee was not the smooth creamy custard that im used to but it was literally eggs in a cup. They burned the top to mask the poor quality, put a raspberry on top, and sold me two of them anyway! This coupled with my second experience is the reason I wont be recommending or returning to this restaurant. Sad but you guys earned this one. The host and waiter were exceptional as usual. The pastry chef needs more training. This is a fine dining establishment, or atleast thats what I thought. I’m also posting a picture of the deserts.

Easily the best food we have ever had! + Best steak!

We have eaten here before, but it was to-go.
Husband wanted to take me out somewhere special as a nice birthday surprise, and between the amazing food and awesome service, this is truly the best place I have ever eaten!

Our server Alex was incredibly kind and gave us wonderful service.

We were greeted and sat down for our reservation rather quickly, and offered bread at the table, which was really good!
Then we had a shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, the shrimp on it were huge! The cocktail sauce was the best we have ever had; most just taste like marinara, but this had a tasty kick to it!

I had the Delmonico steak, with asparagus. Quite the hefty steak, I could’ve eaten it all, but I was told to save room for birthday dessert. The steak was so good and flavorful, the best steak I have ever had.
Husband ordered the Filet with Sweet & Spicy carrots + Loaded baked potato. The filet was melt-in-your mouth, and the carrots were such a delicious combination of sweet and sriracha! He let me try some, and those carrots were amazing.

Then at the end I was brought a choice menu for my birthday dessert, which I chose the Hazelnut Creme Brulee, which was out of this world. A light dessert, but extremely flavorful.

We will for sure be back again one day, and next year I will be able to try y’all’s cocktails/drinks!

11/10 service, food, and atmosphere, highly recommended for a fancy date night.

Words seriously can not do this place justice! I genuinely believe this was the perfect dining experience. We had a reservation and when we arrived we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was quiet and refined, yet comfortable. The host was incredibly pleasant and informative, he was a genuine pleasure to talk to. Our server was second to none. He had great suggestions, was incredibly friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Our waiter suggested their rosemary garlic butter to accompany the bread service and it amazing! My wife and I each ordered a filet and the kitchen cooked them perfectly!! For dessert we ordered the triple chocolate cake and the canoli. Hands down the best canoli I have ever had, and the cake was delicious without being overpoweringly rich. There is not a single thing I would change about our dining experience. Grayson was by far one of the best upscale dining experiences I have ever had. 10 out of 10, we will be back.
