For the main, I ordered the steak special. Steak with a Hawaiian glaze, herb jasmine rice, and one side. I ordered the potato salad for my side and ordered an additional side of collars greens. My husband ordered the steak on the regular menu with mash potatoes as his side. Portions were the perfect size. My husband ate everything, and I had a little leftover and brought it home. He got an IPA to drink, and I the rum punch.
Everything was delicious! The only complaint was from my husband, who said his steak tasted more like a pot roast. I tried a piece, and it indeed did. It was not bad. it just did not taste like a wood fired steak. Overall, we were very happy (I was extra happy cause all of mine was so good!). On the way out, we complimented the chef.
The service was lovely. My rum punch was made perfectly.
We will definitely be back again to try the pizza!
I prefer to support local but after this pie arrived, the big box franchises are looking better each day. First time ordering from Urban Oak Brick Oven. Pictures and menu looked great so I placed a door dash order for a small pie with sausage. When it arrived it was hot and felt heavy and I was anxious to open the box. Inside was a pie that looked paper thin and with 20 pounds of cheese on top and tiny drops of sausage. I had to slice it myself as they either forgot or only sliced it in two inches from the crust. Not a problem, I keep a pizza wheel on hand for when this happens. The crust was as thin as the paper plate I placed a couple of slices on and I could not pick it up because it was so heavy with cheese and the crust was so thin. First bite and all I got was a lot of salty cheese, no sauce. I peel back the mound of cheese and it looks like a ring of sauce was painted around the edge. Nothing about this was appetizing or tasty and the tiny ball of sausage did not help. Really disappointing all around with this pie and ended up tossing it, what a waste of money. I’ve had brick oven pizzas and they are usually a nice crunchy crust with that great char flavor. Not this. Save your money and call Domino’s.
There’s a ton I’d like to say but I’m going to keep it short.
1) Food was amazing.
2) Location was clean.
3) I couldn’t get a photo of the main meals as we all dug in fast. Plenty of food, we each had a Togo container. Should have just ordered appetizers, they were amazing by themselves.
Will definitely be back with more family members!
The staff is also very attentive, and really sweet! I had went to this restaurant twice since it’s open and both times I’ve sat at the bar. I’ve had Michelle. She’s truly down to earth, great conversation, and always smiling! She flies around the bar to make sure everyone is well taken care of. My drink is refilled or replaced before it even gets below a half. She recommended the Garlic Knots && The Pepperoni Pizza; let’s just say I have no regrets!
It’s just close to home and the food is delicious. Prices are fantastic- and I also ended up bringing food home with me each time!
Thank you so much Michelle for a wonderful dining experience!
