Always a good experience at Slice. First time at this location. Za has no flop to the crust despite the oil from the cheese and roni. Outdoor seating was perfect for us.

Super clean, fast service, friendly employees and outstanding pizza. The $4.50 per slice Friday special offers excellent value. The Uncle Buck and pepperoni slices are delicious. The only downer is that there aren’t many tables inside the slice shop. Otherwise, highly recommend this pie joint.

TLDR: Falls short of the competition (including its sister locations)

I came here for dinner, ordered the Caesar salad, a slice of pepperoni, and a slice of the “Foghorn Leghorn”

The salad was subpar. Not bad, but it was miles from blowing me away. It wasn’t helped by the fact it didn’t have enough dressing. Also, you have to dress it yourself, which wouldn’t be a problem if it was in a bowl that let you actually mix it together without spilling all over the table.

The Foghorn Leghorn was so-so. Surprisingly bland given everything on it. chicken was dry and chewy, and nothing but it really showed through. The bottom of the crust was wonderfully crisp though.

The pepperoni was good, but also sort of hard to not be? Good crust, lots of pepperoni, good amount of cheese. The saving grace of the meal.

The real kicker to me, and maybe I am just being pretentious, but they charge the same here as they do at the other locations that have table service? I don’t see how they beat out their own locations (like Plaza) with table service by offering the same(ish) food but being counter service? Let alone comparing them to competitors like Hall’s.

Overall, if you want Empire, go to the one in Plaza.

P.S. they commit a cardinal sin of pizza places and charge for ranch.

We decided to try a new place and heard about this. We go to try it and we ultimately decide on getting there garlic knots and 1 pizza. BE ready bc it’s expensive. The total for the knots, the pizza, and adding one topping to it after a small tip and tax came to $50. So we go out and wait, we get the garlic knots that we paid $8 or so and there are only about 5 pieces. Ok? For $8 they better be good. No. A huge letdown. And so was the marinara. Tbh, my friend equated them to Little Caesar’s. And that was a spot-on assessment. They were a big letdown. The pizza finally comes and for about 25 or so dollars the pizza is very big which is good. And they are very generous with toppings. But because of how many toppings they put on there. It makes it almost impossible to eat, half the toppings that they put on end up falling off onto ur plate. After eating I ask for a box to go. Thinking I’d get a medium pizza-sized box. Or one of their big full-sized ones with how big the pizza was. She asks if I want a big or small box. I say big. And she hands me a box a medium pizza wouldn’t even fit in. With how gigantic their pizza is you’d think they’d give you big boxes just a little interesting I guess. There were no napkins on our table. Or cutlery on our table is available as well. I go inside. None are available as well. I have to steal them off an empty table. With how little sauce they put on their pizza (I’m a fan of a good amount of sauce) and all the other small things I just definitely won’t be coming back. Especially for paying $50

We stopped in for a quick lunch bite. We each ordered a single slice and a small salad. For the price the salad was a real steal. Very fresh and full of flavor. Both slices of pizza were done just right and also had good flavor. We will use them again when we need to stop in for a quick lunch bite

When the Fungus Among Us came out I was a little taken aback by how it looked and didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. Quite flavorful. Anytime you are able to catch me off guard in a classic genre like pizza I’m gonna be impressed. Good stuff. Foghorn Leghorn was good too but I’m not a spice fanatic. It was mild enough for me to enjoy!

Undercooked dough. Ordered a half cheese, half uncle buck. My daugter took 2 bites and wont even touch the rest. I’m disappointed as well. Had to throw back in the oven at 425 until cooked through. Never again.

The best Pizza in OKC. Being from NY, I’m pretty picky about my pizza. Having tried 10+ pizza places, I determined that Empire Slice is by far my favorite pizza in OKC, and top 5 overall. The selection of pizza and food is enormous, the food is always fresh and amazing, the people are awesome, and the place is great. Find a good time because when it’s busy, you’ll definitely wait, but it’s worth it. I personally like the Uncle Buck, the Fat Tony, and the Meat Pizzas, the garlic knots in marinara are awesome. I always have leftovers. There are several locations to choose from, and I hope they open another one. It’s nice to not have to chase awesome pizza anymore. Thanks for being awesome.

Any place that charges $2.25 for a can of soda, and $5 a slice is a greedy business profiting nearly triple what it actually costs to make the same product. Pizza is tasty, but not for the price.
