Love the atmosphere with separate dining rooms from the bar area. Rustic décor with a lot of wood. The parking lot is atrocious. It is in the back, down a VERY steep hill, that you have to walk up to get to the entrance at the front of the building.
Service was very slow. Our server was very nice and she was sweet, however we were the only ones there but still waited an excessively long time just for drinks. I had to ask for water and no one else at the table was offered any. No condiments on the table so we had to ask for everything, and wait longer.
The food itself is a mixed bag. Some things were delicious, others not. I ordered the Shooting Match because it comes with a small portion of every meat they offer. The presentation is just fabulous. The chicken and pulled pork were extremely dry, the ham, ribs , and brisket were good. I got sides of coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The coleslaw is excellent – creamy, yet tart, but the mashed potatoes are instant. Not exactly what you expect when you pay to go out for dinner.
It’s certainly not the worst BBQ we’ve ever had, just be selective, but unfortunately this is no return for us.

I was driving by and saw this place, figured what the heck. Plenty of parking in the rear. I sat at the bar and the tender was very friendly. But the place was empty, so I was thinking this isn’t going to go well. I ordered the brisket and was shocked when they brought this big plate of it. I was even more shocked when it fell apart when I hit with my fork. Then I tasted it and went to heaven. Juicy, tender and a flavorful black pepper rub. Amazingly well done. I’ll be back!

So I’ve seen some pretty mixed reviews on the barbecue here which I haven’t gotten to yet. But as far as the sandwiches go specifically the Philly cheese steak I don’t think I’ve had better one. I also vouch for the salmon blt really good stuff

The food was the bomb! This platter was only $13 and I got free bread just cuz I asked for it our waitress was amazing super friendly lots of smiles my wife drink about 13 Cokes, and they didn’t bat an eye lash not once. The place was clean as well as the rest rooms. Next time we’re going for drinks & ill post again. But well worth the money. And the prices are very conservative! Also I would like to add that the tables were wooden very sturdy and the armless chairs were made of wood with a very nice cushion bottom very comfortable. Overall it was very pleasant and friendly and we will definitely be going back. Steven (Taco) Guerrero.

I placed an online takeout order through Silver Spur’s website this afternoon at 04:10 pm. Apparently, after receiving an order confirmation the restaurant didn’t see my order. I called them because of the incorrect ready, scheduled pick-up time. The whole experience couldn’t of been worse. The restaurant’s employees had said I’d have to call Door Dash (their 3rd party online ordering vendor). Uh… no. How is this my responsibility? Luckily, I was just able to cancel the food order online. The Silver Spur employee had never called me back as promised. Except some 4 hrs. later, and NOT the 10 mins. as originally promised. I had moved on to a different eating option. The poorer spoken English here was also a factor. I really wonder how they’ve stayed in business thus far? Oh well, time to find a new BBQ place.
