Wow, very impressed!
I ordered a red velvet cake for my daughter’s birthday on short notice the day after Thanksgiving. Not only did Barbara get the cake made for me the next day, she also hand delivered it during a bad snow storm!!
The cake was delicious, so moist and the icing was perfect! Highly recommend her and she is just as sweet as her cakes!!

I picked up two cake donuts, a slice of almond breakfast cake, and an apple dumpling. I had no idea what an apple dumpling was, but it turned out to be a delicious pastry filled with a whole baked apple!
Do you remember coring an apple, stuffing it with cinnamon, sugar, butter, and maybe some pecans, and then throwing it in the oven? The apple keeps its skin intact. I thought we used to make it in coffee cups in the microwave. Does anyone else remember this?
Of course, it was delicious!
The almond breakfast cake was also excellent. Although my favorite item was out of stock, I didn’t mind the replacements.

Purchased 3 bakery items. 2 cupcakes and a Blueberry Bundt cake slice. The food was amazing and I especially loved the blueberry cake. Ate it over 3 days because you could take the one slice and slice it into even smaller portions. Since the baked items were so good I am definitely going to get some meals to try. Give them a shot I think you’ll be impressed.

I Ordered a Too Good To Go plate and received smothered chicken and what I think was mushroom rice. The food was pre packed in a styrofoam takeout container. I received no utensils.
I’m not from Indiana, so I don’t know if it’s a Merrillville thing to serve overcooked, unseasoned mushy rice with an entree because that’s what I got. The chicken was okay and the only thing that was edible.
I spent $5.43 on that two course meal that otherwise would have gone in the trash. I thought I was doing something positive by supporting a black owned business. I guess you get what you pay for. Should have went to Wendy’s.

I ordered the turkey wing dinner and I’m so . The turkey wing was dry (real dry and over cooked),macaroni had no flavor and dry, and the dressing was cold. I must have came on an off day. The food was definitely under seasoned. I’m so sad .They did have great customer service
