We were traveling to Carlsbad Cavern from ABQ and decided to stop by for a breakfast on Sunday morning. The only parking available is at the back of restaurant and very limited. I can see parking be a problem on busy day.

The food was horrible. The pancakes were burnt, the sausage was rock hard, and the bacon wasn’t even fully cooked. I ordered the chilaquiles, and they tasted like Frito chips with salsa poured on top. On top of that, the prices were crazy !! $6.22 for a bean and cheese and $4 for a small chocolate milk, almost the price of a whole gallon! Definitely not worth it.

I was driving by and saw this place was open for breakfast, so I thought I would pop in and check it out. It was exactly what I was looking for! Just a simple little diner, where the food is amazing. Loved it! My breakfast was fantastic, and the service was great! The coffee was pretty decent too!

The gossip is hot here, unlike the food. 5 minutes of 3 waitresses life problems before a lady from the KITCHEN came out to help me order. Not an inviting place as name infers. Burritos were bland even with “salsa”, but for price I paid, I am not impressed or happy with anything this place has to offer. Take your money & taste buds down main & hit up a food truck.

A family of 3; waitress took order and delivered 2 of the 3. Waited over 30 minutes for large caldo de pollo. Worst I’ve ever had; all processed ingredients including canned carrots, canned chicken and bland. And she had the nerve to charge us for it.
