This is a hard review to write. The burritos are great, the homemade tortillas are superb, but DO NOT order anything made with shrimp! The shrimp were cooked, even overcooked, with shell and tail on, to the point the shell stuck like glue to the shrimp and it took me 45 minutes to peel the shell from 8 shrimp so I could eat them. It is NOT gourmet or anything of the sort to cook shrimp with the shell and tail on, especially from a food truck. It is ignorant, stupid or lazy cooks, too lazy to shell and devein shrimp before they serve it. By the time I got done taking the shells off the shrimp I was also of the opinion it was an open act of meanness on the part of the cooks. Their message is clear that they don’t want my business, I can guarantee they won’t get any more of it either. I have a hard time believing that kind of stupidity was really stupidity, no matter how nice they appeared or I was to them, doing something that idiotic is just plain meanness from the core out. I’ve never thought anything but good of the food I’ve gotten there, but today’s experience with the overcooked shrimp with shell and tail on is a deal breaker for me, I won’t be doing business with people either that incompetent or mean. Too many other places that serve good food.
