What an amazing dining experience we had. We were greeted with a great smile and immediately seated. Drinks were served right away. We ordered Veg biryani and Dhaniya chicken which were served timely. This restaurant knows cooking secrets, taste was mind blowing, spices were perfectly balanced and as we liked. Host was very kind and kept checking on us. The place has great ambience, prices are very reasonable and menu has tons of options. We will definitely be back soon and try the menu again.
Great businesses like this feed not only delicious food but fill you with a lot of positive energy too.
Thanks for a great experience.

Food was very delicious and came out fairly quick! We got the steamed mono dumplings and I ordered the matar paneer and garlic naan! All of it was super tasty. Love the ambience and atmosphere! Would come here again for sure 🙂

I will try to put what my taste buds experienced into words:
Freaking awesome!
Samosas: savory and sweet. Delicious. Well presented. Well cooked. Huge, relative to others I’ve had.
Tilka masala – lamb: a bit sweet. Medium heat. Great texture! Flavor was outstanding
Curry – goat: medium heat. Honestly, not the best curry I’ve had. HOWEVER, it was sort of a combination of curry and fricassee; this is the best way I can explain it, and I’ve had lots of each. My taste buds identified it as a sort of hybrid – one bite felt like fricassee, the other felt more like curry. It was weird, but.. I will return for more! Goat meat was exquisitely tender, fat was rendered properly, and flavor was on point! Just being picky here: heat was a BIT, just a touch over medium (or tikka masala was a bit below medium?) and it was a bit too oily. But HOLY GOAT, it is amazing. I look forward to having the leftovers tonight!
I had a chickpea dish as appetizer that I forgot the name to, along with the samosas. It had three flavors of chickpeas in it, which was very interesting! If it had a serving of rice, it could have been a meal onto itself! One side had the chickpeas a bit too hot, but when combined with the center flavor (sweet potato I think), it balanced well. I never got to the other side; my wife ate it all.
Cheese and spinach naan could have had more spinach and was a bit greasy, but it helped cut through the heat and was quite delicious.
I closed it out with a rice pudding or something, on a recommendation by the staff. That one was a bit bland. It had a nice texture and I liked the almond bits. I wish it had honey or a bit more sweet flavor, but it was still good. It was a nice, simple, and delicious way to close out our three-course meal.
Now: SERVICE was fast, courteous, patient, and overall great. My only regret is that I just realized I left too little tip I meant to leave cash as well but forgot, thinking of the amazing gastronomic experience. (Sorry, y’all)

Delightful, cheerful service, at sometimes slow, but always immediately responsive when called upon. They were generous with their papadam chips and cilantro dip. Fresh chilled water from a quart glass bottle, which was changed out as soon as it looked near empty without our asking. Excellent food. The mixed vegetable pakora was delicious, but unlike any other I have ever eaten from any of the myriad regions of India over the course of 50 years of eating Indian food on 4 different continents. Lamb chop Tandoori was succulent and well seasoned. Perhaps a different dipping sauce aside from the seemingly ubiquitous cilantro dip, & cut lemons, would have been nice. The meat, however, was so flavorful and juicy, it didn’t really need any extra sauce. The Chicken Kadai was very good, though the tomatoes sauce could have been cooked a bit more to blend the flavors better, before adding fresh vegetables to maintain the latter’s crunchiness. The Mixed pickle side was a disappointment. For $3, a meager tablespoon or two of indiscernable vegetables, possibly pickled together, but judging by the flavor profiles, more likely stirred together, was a disappointment.
There aren’t many places after 8:30 where one can get such a delicious fine dining experience with such cheerful service, & nice decor.

Delightful restaurant! Super warm atmosphere, spacious but feels cozy. Staff were kind and attentive.

We ordered the chicken biryani, butter naan, palak paneer, and gajrela (not pictured). All delicious, affordable, and good portions! The palak paneer in particular tasted so fresh, the spinach came through really strongly which I’ve never had before and greatly enjoyed. It was also incredibly smooth.

Highly recommend!

I went there recently with my sister and friends to celebrate her birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience. The server was truly amazing so kind, attentive, and patient with us the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could really tell the chef put a lot of care into every dish. They even surprised her with the cutest little birthday cake, which made the moment even more special. Overall, everything was perfect, and it honestly made her birthday unforgettable

I would say the food here is a little bit different than what I would normally expect from an Indian restaurant in Richmond, and that could be because this restaurant seems to have a strong Himalayan focus as well? So for example, the butter chicken is a lot more red and Tomato tasting than I’ve ever experienced but it’s also not like I’m an expert in South Asian food. I strongly suggest the momos which have such a unique spice pallet. I can’t quite put my finger on.
