We have been eating here for about a year now, once every 2-3 weeks. The sushi is always fresh and delicious (I primarily order shrimp and crab based rolls), and the appetizers are actually very good too. It’s a fairly quiet place when we are typically there (weeknights after work), which I prefer, as I speculate the service is much quicker as a result. Owners are very friendly and always welcome us – I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about. Only problem is that it’s closed on Tuesday’s when I often need a sushi fix.

Love this place. We drive from the suburbs to come here for the great sushi and Japanese. My husband enjoys the sushi rolls, in particular the spicy tuna special roll. I get the golden garlic shrimp hibachi dinner which comes with soup, salad, rice, and veggies. They have a huge menu. It’s a small place though.

Really great family owned sushi restaurant! We have been going there for years. The sushi is always fresh and always delicious. The owners are wonderful people who take the time to get to know and truly take interest in their customers. The service has always been attentive. Great value and great quality!

Went there for the first time. Menus were very dirty, sticky. Same goes for the table and soda glasses. Told the waitress it was our 1st time there. Every 45 seconds she would ask if we were ready. We kept saying we needed a few to go over the menu and would call her when we were ready. Nope.

Go to neighborhood sushi restaurant! Nothing overly fancy just delicious sushi and service. The fried rice is fantastic and a must have..order a size larger to take home the extras it’s that good. We’ve been coming here for years and the staff not only know our family but remember our orders. They offer all you can eat sushi as well as take out. Tables available as well as bar seating. Love this place!

This is my favorite type of place to eat sushi. It’s clearly family-owned and very clean. I had the “all you can eat” sushi and it was a bargain. Usually, with the “all you can eat” the menu is very limited and you have to worry about the quality of the fish but I found that the fish was stored perfectly and very fresh. They also included many appetizers on the menu so even people who don’t like raw fish can find something delicious to eat.

I am super picky about my sushi, especially at an all you can eat place. Fuji Ya has a decent menu for sushi and more appetizer options than most places. Every thing I tried was great. My favorite appetizer was the golden shrimp and the best roll was the rainbow roll. My husband and I even treated the kids and ourselves to mochi icecream and were not disappointed!

First and last time I will ever visit… there was no label for entrees on top just “items”. I wanted all you can eat and mistakenly ordered 3 entree that were bad and I couldn’t eat them at all. I said I would pay for them but the owner came up and keep ruining my mood and the people I was with. I don’t need lectures and I didn’t want to take the food home with me… but he kept insisting. The sushi is semigood but the customer service from the owner is not. I would NOT recommend. That is my opinion from my personal experience.

Came to town to take family out, read the reviews and it had 4.5. There’s NO way those reviews could be legit. This place is horrible. The restaurant was dirty, wait/host staff completely inattentive. It took an HOUR to get our food and when it finally came, was sub par at BEST. If you’re looking for a nice place, this isn’t it! If you want to go sit under dust bunnies and don’t care how long it takes to get mediocre food, then sure.

This place is consistently good. For years they have served the same top quality food at reasonable prices (and they deliver!). Even when ordering a lot so that I can have lunch for the next day, the food is still fresh and delicious and arrives faster than anticipated. Fuji Ya is a neighborhood staple and they standby their food. No matter what I know I can count on a great, satisfying meal with Excellent* service! Shame on these nay sayers who are most likely from competing businesses anyways. I love this place and always will. Home-style perfection 😀
