The waitress and cook were very sweet and kindly remade the dish, but unfortunately, it was still just as salty. After a while, they admitted that they couldn’t adjust the salt level because the sauce was store-bought. Maybe they should also check the amount of salt they add to the pasta water.
The portion was small (even in European standard) and for the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it. Especially for something that isn’t homemade/ fresh.
Price was decent in comparison to other local joints.
We were there before it got busy!
The menu was limited & they were out of most. I had 2 choices. Pizza or a meat pie.
My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza & I got the meat pie. We were not impressed but were starving. We drove all day to get to Natchitoches & it was the only place that didn’t have a line outside.
Lesson learned. I don’t recommend & won’t go back.
The menu boasts a mouthwatering array of pub fare: meat pies, poboys, pizza, muffalettas, each crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re craving a classic Reuben sandwich or a ham and cheese poboy, there’s something to satisfy every appetite.
But what truly sets this place apart is its charming ambiance and picturesque location. Situated on the cobblestone riverfront, diners can enjoy their meal while taking in stunning views of the Cane River Lake and the historic downtown area. Withing walking distance of the Steel Magnolias house and an array of boutiques, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring all that Natchitoches has to offer.
And let’s not forget the pub! With an impressive selection of craft beers and specialty cocktails, this place is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re looking to unwind with a cold beer or sip on a handcrafted cocktail, the friendly bartenders will take care of you.
In summary, if you’re looking for local flavor, friendly service, and a prime location, look no further than this corner deli on the historic cobblestone riverfront in Natchitoches, LA.
