This place is SO GOOD. The food, the service, everything. This is our favorite sushi spot in the area and they do not miss. Even the appetizers, boba teas, everything is just done so well. If you’re looking for a good sushi spot, PLEASE check this place out.

One of the very best places I ever eaten! I have been craving their food since I left, and I can’t wait to come back here again. Our waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. There is something on the menu for everyone, and the food is fresh and high quality. Some reviews say the prices are high, but I think their prices are very reasonable. Our bill was just under $100 for 3 entrees (chicken hibachi, sushi roll, and chicken katsu), 2 apps, and 2 Ramune drinks. The portions are very generous, my two teens and I ate our fill and had enough for another meal to take home. If you’re wanting hibachi, sushi, or some good friend chicken (katsu), come here. You won’t leave hungry or disappointed!

What a wonderful gem!! Date night before a show we were wanting to go somewhere new, pleasant atmosphere and good service. Our waitress was so sweet, kind and patient. The sushi was some of the best I’ve had recently with fresh crab, scallops, really fresh and delicious. Great experience and we highly recommend.

Went here on Christmas Day with my family and I was heavily impressed. Food was extremely well prepared and fresh. Appetizers were tasty and not to filling to prepare me for the main course. My favorite of which was the potato tempura, very well prepared and made. Service was also very good, they were on top of everything, lady who served us was very nice,no complaints. Would go back here again.

This is by far the best sushi and Japanese restaurant I’ve tried in Pittsburgh. I have a ginger allergy and not only did they call me to make sure they hand wrote on the sauce containers there was no ginger. They delivered everything in a taped box so there was no spillage or tampering and labeled everything. I finally have a restaurant that has high quality and beautifully presented food as well as ginger free. Having this allergy is a struggle and i always have reactions from places not caring or not following my instructions. I have ordered 3 times from this place and not once had a reaction. This is my new favorite restaurant and i hope more people try this place out. The sushi was incredible and fresh and the presentation was gorgeous. They truly deserve 5 stars

When one finds himself free from the trivialities of life and on the wandering path, one must eat. Like flicking the arrowed spinner on a child’s game, one may expect to find Italian, American, or some mix of fusion in the realms of Pittsburgh.

On this given night, I found myself at Ginza having walked past the shop on the way to my parked vehicle. I doubled back…its quiet allure, a single part of 6 males chatting it up and a lone receptionist taking a call. It was type of situation that comes once in a lifetime where the stars align for good food, service, and perhaps one’ s own company at a reasonable price.

I was seated quickly and asked for my preference in drink. I opted for green tea. They brought me a menu with an extensive selection of sushi rolls and something that would likely please just about any appetite. I opted for the Strongman Rolls: Soft Shell crab, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado, fish roe, lettuce…

They served the rolls on a long plate with a few slices of ginger and a pod of wasabi. Soy sauce is on the table and they hand you a small mixing plate with chop sticks and a fork.

The soft shell crab was fried to perfection and the soy sauce achieved the perfect balance of sweet and bitter soy and the wasabi was hot enough to singe the nose hairs but deep enough to know when to quiet its argumentative fervor and and let your taste buds enjoy the meal. God, these rolls were so delicious they would be on my top three dishes for my final meal before a death battle in the nether realm.

The atmosphere is quite neo-soul/alternative. Think soothing soulful instrumentals and Gorillaz. The receptionist took a few calls and maintained her professional demeanor despite the callers not quite understanding how to order while a Door Dash Driver came in and picked up an order while waiting for another to finish. Yet, this venue remained calm and serene.

I ordered the fried cheesecake and Japanese tea ice cream causing my waiter to send back the check he had brought me prematurely. Their green tea ice cream is of the darker variety but nails the flavor on the match mix green teas flavor with the slight hint of sweetness. I didn’t even know that fried cheesecake was a thing. They delivered it with a spot of whip cream and magical chocolate and strawberry spotted drizzle.

So delicious…so yummy….

A party of 8 arrived as I exited and it made me wonder how many know about this quiet gem? Well, now you do so the only question is what’s stopping you?

Ginza the other night was good. Lots of fresh sushi and sashimi, and luckily not the super expensive kind. May not go for shumai again (not bad, just underwhelming) but my rolls were good. Parking was easy on that end of Bloomfield around dinner time too. If you want dessert afterwards Scoops, Twisters or the ice cream section of Giant Eagle aren’t too far away.

Nice little Japanese restaurant with good sushi. Certainly not the best I’ve ever had, but it was fresh, clean, and tasty. The gyoza were cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, good service!

A cute, clean restaurant with quick service and tasty menu. We found great parking around the block, and we enjoyed a walk along the main drag in Bloomfield.

Pro Tip: go the sushi route. While the hibachi options were nice, the sushi was better!
