I’ve been going to Ridley’s for more than 20 years. Never disappointing, unless closed upon my arrival. The molasses cookies are always a favorite. Since I live in middle TN my availability is limited. Stop by every time I’m in Detroit area. Keep up the great service and baked goods. Thanks for not compromising over the years.

Ridley‘s is a gift that keeps on giving.Along with its nostalgic layout and the local people that frequent this place. It’s a if you know you know type of place and the staff is wonderful, helpful, and nice. I enjoyed their service and everyone was so attentive. They explained to me what the pastries and sandwiches were made of. The sandwiches come with your choice of bread there’s eight or 10 different types along with the bread of the day so you can change your order along with the season . I ordered a Ridley’s club And a couple of cookies. They have coffee orange juice and choice beverages. I’ll be sure to come back again when I’m in the area.

Visited this place today for a quick coffee… I was happy to see Hazelnut fresh brew coffee. The place was very welcoming and the staff is happy to serve you.
The ambience of the place was fresh and the bakery item selection was plenty to chose from.
Though I went for the afternoon coffee today, I am very much excited to go back in morning time to pick some coffee and at least two bakery items.

Ridley’s cafe immediately won the hearts of mine and my wife’s instantly. As soon as we walked into the bakery, we were greeted to which I mentioned we were out of town and did not know anything about Ridley’s, so what does everyone get? The lady assisting us informed me that everyone gets the Gail’s Cinnamon muffin. So, we absolutely had to try one of those. I don’t know who Gail is, or what magic voo-doo she worked into those muffins, but those were the most incredible muffins I have ever tasted in my life. My wife and I enjoyed them on the go due to travel time constraints, but even on the road we were completely shocked by the beauty and flavor of their cinnamon muffin. Then, to our surprise, the cinnamon sugary mix that makes any muffin top delicious was somehow embedded all the way through the muffin. Serious originality points here. Everyone always knows the joke about how people only eat the muffin tops and no one likes the stumps, but somehow Ridley’s has perfected the muffin from top through bottom. I was truly impressed. We also bought tuna sandwiches which were unbelievable. I am so so sad that Ridley’s isn’t closer to home for us because I would be there daily. One of the best bakeries I have ever been to.

This cafe is probably the best breakfast and lunch cafe in Troy. Fresh muffins to die for. Their soups, salads and sandwiches are excellent. But their coffee is what has always brought me back. One of the hardest things about moving out of state was leaning Ridleys Bakery Cafe.

Wonderful food and friendly staff. We recently partnered with them on a local ad campaign and EVERYBODY raved about the food. The Reuben is the best (tuna is a fave as well) but everything else is awesome too. Get the Soup & Sandwich- you will love it! P.S. They have homemade bones for your dogs too which are always a hit at our house.

My job had lunch catered from Ridley’s for a meeting. I didn’t think I’d like the vegetarian sandwich because…it’s a vegetarian sandwich. HOWEVER, the sandwich was better than any burger I’ve ever had!!! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed.

It was good. Sandwhich should have been toasted / panini style, also pricing online needs to be updated, but besides that everything tasted good and was well worth it. I will likely go again.

While the people and atmosphere were wonderful, as were the food selection, I unfortunately got food poisoning from their ham and cheese quiche sandwich. Ate it in the morning, felt really sick and nauseous and dizzy all day. Couldn’t eat anything else. Hours later I had such a nasty headache I couldn’t even stand, in and out of sleep still feeling awful. Finally I threw up. I threw up the entire sandwich and everything changed. I felt so much better, more alive, and I was upbeat and moving again. It’s unfortunate this happened, especially when it was my first time eating there.
