This Popeyes has the best food ever, it’s very clean, and most of all the employees are so friendly and funny. Me and some other people were the only ones in there so we got to talk it up with the employees, we were cracking jokes and making videos it was a blast. It was so fun that leaving was hard. I 100% recommend going there!

My first and most agrivating complaint would be the fact they sell shrimp , fried…but stopped carrying tarter sauce for it ! This is louisiana for gods sake! Tarter sauce is a must. Heck , i put it on mcdonalds items. Even mcdonalds has tarter sauce…. the tables are always dirty i have to clean one to eat every time. And if you ask for a rag to clean one , youve just hurt their feelings somehow. The windows are so dirty , i actually thought it was raining outside. ….omg!

Easily the worst place in Leesville to order from. Over and over again, we have missing items. Don’t even communicate that they are out of something at the window, just send you on your way to find out when you get home. I think we’re about 5 orders straight now that they have not given the sauces for. Manager doesn’t care and is rude.

The employee working the cash register could care less if he’s working or not and makes it known. I had to repeat my order three times because he wouldn’t stop talking to other employees. I ordered the small mashed potatoes and gravy with my meal and an additional large red beans and rice. When I showed up to my hotel and pulled the food out, there was barely any mashed potatoes and gravy as you can see from the photo and I was given a small red beans and rice even though I paid for the large.

I’ve eaten there a few times sense we been in Leesville LA and let me tell you I’ve been all over the world and I’ve never encountered more courteous and respectful people as I have eaten at this Popeyes they are the nicest people I’ve ever met and the food is always fresh and amazing I would recommend for everyone

My last visit I waited in line for 31 minutes to just for them to get my order wrong. I ordered on the app and wanted the apple chilled drink but then they tell me that they don’t sell that at Popeyes… So they offered me a lemonade. I don’t know what happened to the lemonade they gave me instead but it tasted so foul. And they also forgot my wife’s two sides and just gave her chicken. (I had to go inside for my drinks after they parked me for the 31 minutes because they didn’t give us the drinks at the window.)

The food is usually good. But two times in a row, I ordered on the mobile app and went inside and told them my name. Both times, the orders took 40 minutes to receive the food. And there has been at least one thing missing both times. Back in January of 2025, it took 57 minutes to get my food, and they said it was my fault because I didn’t tell them my name when I came in. That was a bold face lie, and I confronted them about it, and they just said whatever. On the bright side, nobody that was on that shift is working there anymore.

The food was good but the chicken was not hot. Chicken is a PHF ( potentially hazardous food) and should be held at the proper holding temperature. I ate my meal inside the resturaunt so there is not a possibility that it cooled down during the trip home. I could see that they had a huge amount of food prepared and this was about 2 PM, a relatively slow period. At this time of day they should be using progressive cooking .
