The food was amazing, server was polite, and I believe the owner or manager was on the floor and checked in on us more than once. Wonderful atmosphere. Definitely worth the hour trip we made to dine there. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Side note… I forgot my cell phone at the table and not only did they call me, but came out of the restaurant and began to walk it up the sidewalk and met up with my husband and I. Truly great experience.

My date and I both did the 4 course tasting menu and were blown away. We are not drinkers so we skipped the wine pairing, but $70 for 4 full size courses is a WOW for value. Every course was absolutely amazing, food is above and beyond. Lovely quiet atmosphere as well for a relaxing evening. Nice yummy mock-tails for non-drinkers. We went on the 4th of July weekend so it was definitely one of their slower nights. Despite being slow and ending up being the last couple in the restaurant, they paced our 4 courses amazingly and we never ever felt rushed to leave or rush through our courses. I’m surprised I don’t hear more people talking about this place. Will definitely be coming back and telling friends!!

From start to finish, The Statler delivered excellence!
The valet was great. $20 is standard here in Downtown Detroit, and reasonable for being in such close proximity to the Ford Field and Comerica Park.
We arrived a little early for our reservation, and had to wait about 5 min for our table to be ready. The hosts were excellent.
We were sat back in a corner which was excellent so we could watch how busy they were, people watch.
Richard was our server, and he was perfectly attentive.
The short ribs, amazing.

Beet salad – earthy
We didn’t have one thing that we were not blown away with.
Would definitely recommend the carrot cake!!

The atmosphere, food, and service were all fantastic! The cocktails were top-notch, and our server was attentive and friendly. I started with the French onion soup, which was absolutely delicious, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful.
As a self-proclaimed mac n’ cheese connoisseur, I can confidently say their lobster mac n’ cheese deserves an A+. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and the portion was generous.
I also tried the short rib burger with fries, and it did not disappoint. The fries were crispy, reminiscent of McDonald’s but even better, and the burger was excellent—juicy and full of flavor.

This was a wonderful dining experience with delicious food. My Seafood Bouillabaisse was perfect! Nice, large scallops, plenty of mussels, and a tasty petite Lobster Tail. The cocktails were great, too! It’s definitely a great spot for a girls’ night out or a flirty date nite in the middle of downtown Detroit.

The restaurant has a nice, chic atmosphere. We started with the lamb en ballon, it was so delicious. I had the roasted beets and goat cheese salad, which was okay, I’d pass on this if I return. For dinner I had the roast duck and the beef short rib. The short rib was fantastic! I would come here just for that. The duck was tasty, not a wow for me, but still good. The lobster Mac and cheese was good, nothing special.

We loved our experience here!! Kiara was an amazing waitress. She gave the best wine pairing recommendations. We had the grilled artichokes (which were just okay), Oyster Rockefeller which were small but the flavor was great, the mussels were spicy but delicious. They were also on the smaller side. The carrot cake was amazing. The pasta was delicious too. I would definitely come again!

We had a wonderful team dinner at The Statler. We tried a little of everything, the oysters, cheese plate, artichokes, beef tartare, scallops, steak, halibut, burger, mac and cheese. The jalapeño margarita was very good! A must try for sure. Everything was delicious and the service is stellar. I look forward to coming back next time I’m in town!
