Coffee Corral is a must stop if staying in Baker City or just traveling through on I-84. Just off the interstate this modern coffee shop offers indoor and outdoor seating along with a variety of menu items. The breakfast burrito was delicious and very filling while our hot and cold mochas hit the spot! The staff was very helpful. We highly recommend taking a break at the Coffee Corral!!

I was on my way home and stopped in Baker City for a break. Being a bit of a coffee snob, I was on the hunt for a proper cup and came across this place.

My first visit was, admittedly, a bit of a miss. A younger crew was working and the coffee just did not quite hit the mark, which was a shame.

The next morning I decided to give it a redemption round before heading out of town, and I am very glad I did. The women working that day were warm, friendly, and clearly knew their coffee. We had a quick chat about people’s coffee choices, and they made me one of the best flat whites I have had in a long time.

You can tell when someone actually understands coffee, not just how many pumps of syrup go into a cup. They answered my questions with confidence and care, and the result showed up in the cup.

If you want a genuinely good coffee and not just a sweet drink pretending to be one, this is the place. Thanks again. I will definitely be back the next time I pass through.

Stopped here on my way to grab a coffee. The coffee was good and the service was fast. They also have a drive thru and a parking area across the street.

Been there a few times (I’m not from the area) I have only ever gotten the gold rush and it is never consistent. It’s usually pretty good but after today I’m over it. The drink was missing several ingredients, no syrup, couldn’t taste the flavor and the color was off. Also, why is a 16 oz latter over $6? Insane prices, the most I’ve ever paid for a small drink. Customer service was slow already and when we got to the window they didn’t even know what we ordered.

slow service every time I’ve come here:( the coffee is good & your expected coffee shop price range. I will mention that many of the staff wear their long hair down which definitely isn’t a vibe with being in the food industry ://

I really like their coffee. But when you order sugar free for a diabetic kid and they give you “less sugar” mix and don’t tell you, that means 500 blood sugar and potential ER. Don’t order sugar free if you are type 1. Not ok.

Only giving two stars because every once in a while there’s a streak of a few days where the coffee is actually correct and tastes okay. But honestly, I am so sick of the poor service and receiving the wrong order almost every single time I go here. This is not the first time I’ve started writing a review out of frustration, but it will be the first time I actually post it because enough is enough. It’s wild to me to sit and watch 3 or 4 employees stand around when no one is in the drive through behind me and no one in the lobby, all while 1 person works on my entire order. At the same time, when you literally have ONE order to fulfill, how hard is it to get the size right? I went early this morning and was the only one there. I sat at the window after receiving my coffees because one was the wrong size. The girl stood there looking at me and refused to open it until I drove away. Weird, but okay…we’re well aware of how shotty the service has gotten over the years. There have been countless times, honestly more often than not, that our coffees are made wrong or inconsistently. It’s always something different depending on who is working. Then there’s the issues of open toe shoes, short shorts, and long hair being worn down. All health code violations that I’m familiar with having worked at local restaurants and a coffee shop in the past. The lack of education and training, leading to severe inconsistencies, is so disappointing to see over the last ten years. I just feel like maybe instead of focusing on having the “chill, aesthetic, vibes” coffee shop, CC should focus on actually making good coffee first and teaching their employees how to follow recipes and actually listen to what a customer is ordering. And FWIW, they’re not the only guilty ones. Sorbenots service has also gone down over the years. What is going on with all the local coffee shops?

Food was so expensive for what it was…a but ridiculous. I asked for a breakfast sandwich that was supposed to be a croissant with egg and cheese. It was a microwave ridiculously small round bun (definitely not a croissant!)… come on! I asked to at least have it toasted (mushy bun microwave for over 7$ is not my thing!). It took for EVER!
All together is took so long to get the order.
And my latte looked like a capuchino, not a latte….so disappointed

Quick stop in, good Americano not great. Cute place though to sit and have a coffee vs typical Starbucks. Driving through and would rather go to a local shop than Starbucks.
