I ordered the Jalapeño Poppers, Gyoza, Yellowtail(hamachi), Salmon(sake), a Spicy Girl roll, and Tonkotsu ramen. The jalapeño popper are incredible! Unlike anything I’ve had, and an addictive appetizer. The gyoza is solid; perfectly cooked and tastes clean. Both the salmon and yellowtail nigiri are excellent options, but the yellowtail is hands down the way to go. Our server recommended the Spicy Girl roll, and it was a solid recommendation. Really good blend of flavors in a roll and the spice level is perfect. I’m personally not a big fan of the tuna in the roll, so I’ll get a different roll next time, but it makes sense why it’s a popular order. The tonkotsu ramen is exactly what you want out of this dish. Great flavors, filling, and the corn was something I’m not used to but enjoyed.
The service was fantastic. Our server/host was helpful and attentive. I appreciated her recommendations. I also love the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. I was surprised it wasn’t busier for lunch. I’d eat here over Tsunami any day. I’ll definitely be back.

I come here every time I want a warm and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It’s a very cozy and beautiful atmosphere and experience. The value you get out of every meal is perfect because the prices are great. If you are looking specifically for value come at around lunch time for their bento boxes which they make from around 11-2. 10/10

Found this on google while looking for a new sushi place to try out. It was pretty quiet when we came in, but we were late to get dinner. The sushi was amazing!!! And the rolls were buy one, get one 50% off. Each roll we tried had its own unique flair. We ere extremely impressed and super happy with each roll. We will definitely make it a point to come again.

Been coming here for years. They have the BEST variety of gluten free sushi. They even do gluten free tempura, which I’ve never seen anywhere else as a gluten free sushi connoisseur. Sweetest staff and super cute interior!

We love going into Unami. Our fav is to custom order yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, (ask for extra jalapeño cause the pieces of yellowtail are generous). Highly recommended, this place. 😀

I ordered shrimp and vegetables tempura, a side salad and a Cougar roll and also a childs teriyaki chicken bento box all for $30.00 !!! And I was more than full! And the bento box was a take out meal for my mom

We have been to Umami twice in the last couple of weeks because of how delicious our first experience was. The food is very fresh and high quality. We always get sushi. The staff are super friendly! I’m super impressed all around. This will be definitely be one of our regular spots from now on.
