Ordered the chicken taco dinner and asked for lettuce and cilantro only and just rice and no beans. The tacos had onions as well as lettuce and cilantro. Went back to complain and they remade them and made sure i was happy before I left. 4 stars because i had to go back.

We had a wonderful taco dinner this evening. We ordered both beef tacos, and huevos con chorizo tacos. We had an order of fresh made guacamole with chips that was amazing. Will definitely be back.

When I go out to eat, I don’t want to be excluded because I’m not a local…I want what the same foods, drinks, free appetizer (seafood broth) etc as everyone else. The service wasn’t very good, and all my food including my whole fried snapper was EXTREMELY Bland, No flavor, not even salt…. I’ve never in my entire life had Bland Mexican food. Honestly the ONLY delicious food that I had at this restaurant was the free seafood broth that I had to inquire and ask about and then request to have some too. My frozen margarita wasn’t good either….waste of money.
I won’t return and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you very obviously blend in as a local….

This place is always consistently great. The tacos are amazing and the tostadas de ceviche are delicious. The ladies that work there are so kind and very attentive. Definitely recommend for anyone that likes authentic Mexican cuisine

Best tacos in all of Lake County. Any people who leave bad reviews just don’t understand what a local Taqueria does. This place is hands-down the best place for ceviche and any other seafood cocktail. The tacos are a delicacy of Waukegan! I drive 45 minutes from the city just to get their delicious Micheladas.

This place is the worst for food. I have eaten at some decent Mexican restaurants in Waukegan but this place is something else. My date was very unhappy because of the reviews that this place scored a 4.1 overall. For some people this might be the best food u have eaten or u were just hungry overall. The point for me was there was no flavor in my tacos with avocado. Just terrible and i am not coming back
