Happy Garden serves fresh food. Large variety. We selected Mongolian Beef, General Tso, and Shrimp & broccoli. All very tasty! The beef was tender and velvety – the sauce a bit spicy, but we had not asked to cut back on the spice. Very tasty. The General Tso chicken was perfectly cooked white meat, crisp and excellent. The shrimp was tender and broccoli good. We ordered as take away and items were fresh and crisp when we got home. The dining area is small, but there are tables if you choose to eat in. We will return!

I’ve always wrote Honest reviews. My wife and I are staying in downtown Augusta while our home is being built. This place is less then 1 mile from the place we tried last week that was terrible. Happy Garden is some of the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I got Shrimp padi and she got Chicken Low Mein. A bit pricey but GENEROUS portions. We both have lunch for tomorrow. It was very clean and VERY fast service.

I love this place already!!! I think they know me now. They kinda know what I will order but I switch it up since they are fairly new. I like to try out different dishes and see if I like them!!! The guy and girl that works the front counter go beyond the call of duty. While dining here today they brought everything to me, even refills and to go bags, which I always ask for. I’m kind of a creature of habit when it comes to food and I think they have picked that up already. I love being waited on hand and foot!!! Any place that does this gets 5 stars easily!!!!

I’m from Brooklyn, so what I consider to be tasty Asian food is sometimes different. I ordered Beef Chow Fun for the first time in my life based on what the dish was comprised of and pictures of other dishes patrons had uploaded. I had broccoli added to mine. Well I was NOT disappointed. The flavor was savory and fresh! My food was hot, the beef was tender and the bean sprouts were not cooked to death. I would definitely order it again, and try other dishes! The dining area was clean, but I got my food to go. Customer service was good as well, cashier was polite. It was pricey though, $14.50 for the dish $15.50 with broccoli added. (BTW They charge for yum yum sauce.)

We come here from time to time for dinner. They make excellent and flavorful Chinese food. The prices are very reasonable, and the small size is an excellent and filling amount of food for one person. We’ve had several things here, and they have the typical Chinese faire you come to expect from places like there but they also have other things like Pad Thai and Singapore noodles that you don’t normally find at Chinese restaurants. The food is always good, but best eaten when fresh and the restaurant itself is kept very clean. There aren’t usually too many people in the place since most folks order take out, so if you’re going to eat in you’ll find that you’ll typically be able to get your food quickly.

Read the reviews and seemed great. Placed a lunch order to go…rice was OK hardly anything in it but the rice. The general TSO chicken was of poor quality. Could tell it was frozen and even seemed maybe In freezer a long time and the meat was dark meat, not white. Sauce was thick and had an odd taste to it. Not fresh at all. Threw 95% of it out.
I’d rather pay higher prices and have better quality food. Was disappointed.

Called and ordered ahead of time over the phone, went to the meat market down the street, and when I got there no customers were in there, and my order wasn’t ready. I only ordered a small sweet and sour chicken. $8.00 and received a big pile of rice and eleven small pieces of chicken. Never again!
