Time – Sunday 12:30pm
Order – 쫄면 떡볶이
First impressions- value focused korean food, kitchen well managed, could probably do away with the booths to make room for more tables

떡볶이 was a bit salty. 쫄면 had great balance of sweet, savory, and sour. Perfect goto place if you can’t decide on a restaurant near by.

I had such a great experience at this Korean restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and very family-friendly. It’s the kind of place you can bring loved ones to enjoy a relaxed, satisfying meal together.

The food was absolutely delicious — savory, perfectly seasoned, and full of authentic flavor. Each dish came out hot and fresh, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. The portions were generous and definitely family-sized, making it super easy to share and try a little of everything at the table.

What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find such great service paired with food that’s just as amazing. I’ll definitely be back — and bringing more people with me next time! Highly recommend!

Orders placed at the front test and picked by calling the order number. You will find the available table and seats by your own. No services at the table. The order taker at the front desk was friendly and polite.
The food was authentic and delicious with the fair price.
The restaurant interior looked out of date and somewhat not really clean though. The table was very sticky. I would place the to-go order next time.

We visited Ajumma in Carrollton and ordered the sundae bokkeum (stir-fried blood sausage) and jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles). The portions were surprisingly large for the price! Sundae bokkeum looked like it could feed two people, and the jjolmyeon came with plenty of fresh vegetables, which was nice!

It’s a self-service restaurant, so no tip is required, and the food came out relatively quickly. There’s also a small banchan shop next door. Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and it’s definitely a solid spot for a casual Korean meal.

Came here twice and both times were great experiences. It is self-seating and during busy times, there are not many seats open. Ordered the pork cutlet, sundae soup and spicy pork stir fry. All dishes were very good and the side dishes were great to accompany them. Each item was about $10-14 so it is affordable with large portions. Would definitely come back to try other items and support this place

I wanted to like this place much, much more, but it just didn’t turn out well for me and most of my group. We ordered 6 different items between us, and only a single one had any flavor. The rest was extremely bland and disappointing.

Then, we had issues with getting our order. Out number was 85 (friends were 83, 84, 86)…all of those were called and we continued to wait…then it got into the 90s…then into the 100s (resets back to 00) — still no 85. We asked about it and got a “oh, it’s on the way.” More time passes and nothing. Then we ask another person, and they realize that they skipped it and cleared it from their system l, so now we had to wait even more as they were finally making the order even though it was 20+ numbers past us. Finally, get it to be let down with no flavor.

I am sure this place is amazing for most, but it was just a letdown for us.

Honestly, an incredible experience. Sundae is kind of a niche Korean food, but there are other dishes available.

That being said, I had the spicy sundae and I thought it was amazing. Portion was more than enough for one person, and it tasted fantastic. If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping by and trying. The staff and owner were extremely nice and descriptive if you had any questions about dishes.

One thing I did notice is that there was no prompt for a tip. After visiting, I wish there was an option to do so.

Look, I’m an American and I point at the picture I like and say the corresponding number.

Who am I to say it’s authentic? What I love is that it’s delicious food and BIG portion sizes. Loved the kimchi so much, we took some to go.

It’s my new favorite Korean spot
