Growing up, and spending a lot of time in the Stamford Connecticut area, I know Wedge Inn well. I consider myself a Semi Townie because I have traveled and lived many other places too. Wedge Inn and Dairy Queen are great Stamford Connecticut landmarks for me. I Love the food, and it’s pretty reasonable in pricing.
However, they need to offer restroom options for customers especially since this is a dine-in restaurant too. Not having a restroom available is surprising.

I’m a frequent customer here and usually order Papa’s Special, which is always excellent. The food is consistently great, and I enjoy coming here for the quiet, relaxed ambiance.
Unfortunately, on my recent visits, I had a less-than-pleasant experience with one of the staff members. Over several consecutive days, I felt like my presence and business were unwelcome. This was surprising, as I normally come here not just for the food but also for the comfortable atmosphere.
I hope this was just an isolated situation, because I truly valued coming here.

Good food but the parking lot is horrible and the food is never done on time. Placed an order that said ready for 8:48am I came at 9:00am and the food still wasn’t ready so I got a refund! Ridiculously over crowed and bad vibes. I will not be returning to that jammed packed cheap looking hole in the wall!

I come here every morning. My iced coffee literally fell on the floor when I was walking out. Walked in to get another one and they tried to charge me. The two ladies in the front got disrespectful for no reason if I was a white lady named Susie I would have gotten treated differently. Horrible job!!

I ordered a chili dog with raw onion’s this was the worse the bread wasn’t toasted and the hotdog wasn’t grilled I expect this from the streets of New York but not here and I also order curly fries which were warm and awful as well, a waste of my10 bucks I spent on this. I called the restaurant to talk to the manager he or she was unavailable left my phone number heard nothing back from nobody.

Great place for some dogs. Finding this place was a little challenging, behind Dairy Queen from the main road and couldn’t figure out how to get in so drive around on the other main parallel ave to cross over. Straight forward service with counter and finding a table to eat at. The complete dog aka the works, everything was excellent. The bun was firm to allow the dog and all the toppings especially the generous chili to not sag.

This is a nice little hole in the wall on North Street. If you want to cheat on your diet, do it here. I cheated with Chili Cheese Fries, and they were gone in 5 minutes. I noticed it was empty of customers when I arrived and took photos, but 10 minutes later it was standing room only. Very popular neighborhood place. Friendly staff.

Getting your order taken was fast, actually getting my order took about 20 minutes… not sure if I should have ordered in advance as I was there at noon. Positive the Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and totally worth the wait!
