in 2019 we opened our food truck at 2060 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, little by little with a lot of effort we persisted in offering quality and authentic Mexican food with the main objective of making our customers happy. With the support of our community, in 2023 our dream came true and today our first restaurant is open to give you a unique experience sharing our Mexican style of cooking seafood and traditional dishes with Bruno’s Flavor. This place needs help. Waitress could care less and food was not good. Not worth it at all. Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Had to get the menus myself. Drinks took forever and you don’t get offered refills or additional drinks. The Waitress only gave adequate service to the Hispanic patrons at the table next to us. There were only 3 tables occupied. I can see why the place was empty. The food was pitiful, the birria burrito was served with gross French fries. I ordered combo C3 and only received 1 item. I had to ask the cook myself for the rest of my order. The Waitress never passed back for anything. I had to go to the bar to ask for and pay my bill. This place won’t make it long unless they start caring. Too many other great options in the area. Overpriced for what you get.

I visited Bruno’s Restaurante a couple nights ago and was genuinely impressed! Their tacos are some of the best I ‘ve had in the area and were very fresh and flavorful. The margaritas and guacamole were great too and had to order another serving of guac to go. Our server was friendly and fast and I enjoyed the vibe of the atmosphere. Already looking forward to coming back for their $1 taco nights and karaoke

So they opened this restaurant from a cart, 3 months ago and we decided to give it a try since we live in the neighborhood. I was disappointed with the food though, I ordered nachos with ground beef and the entree barely had any beef, it was more of a vegetarian fare for $14.50. Kids menu was alright and we ordered chicken tenders with fries and quesadilla, which they liked. The waitress didn’t even bring sippy cups/ water for kids and pretty much left it on us to share the water. I mean, who does that? I was disappointed with the food and mediocre service since we even have to ask for water. I will Not recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely won’t patronize it ever again with better options of Mexican restaurants in Slidell. We spent $50 bucks and even left 15% tip but Never Again.

Boyfriend & I ordered lunch to go & it was a complete waste! So gross!
The shell was soggy and the meat tasted like soap was mixed in it!
I wish there was something positive I could say but the only thing positive is that we positively will not be going back here anytime soon!

I go to Bruno’s at least once if not more a week for lunch, and the service they give me is always quick and good. As a regular that goes there Bruno himself has asked for what he can do better for the restaurant such as food wise, the environment, and the service they provide. Plus you can’t beat $1 tacos everyday all day. I really like this place and hope they do well in the future

I ordered 7 seas soup, no shrimp in it, it cost me $25 plus tax and tip, it was about $29 for a pack of frozen seafood bag that contains bunch of fake crab meat.

My friend went here this morning at 10:15 to place a Togo order, not realizing that they weren’t open for another 45 minutes. They still served him, before they opened, fresh, good food and good customer service. We will absolutely be back.

Food was great. But being the only people in the restaurant I would think that we would actually be served. Everyone was pressurewashing the outside. Our cheese was brought with no chips. No refills. The music was so loud it hurt my childrens ears to the point where one of my kids were crying. My ears are still ringing from it. While my husband was trying to go to the bar to pay the bill (we didn’t actually have a server) she was texting for a while before she even noticed him. It’s a shame. The food was really good but I dont see this restaurant making it long.

The worst service ever this place needs all new servers. My wife and I sat down to order Togo we was walked past 5 times until one of the servers seen me dap the owner off and talk to him. Finally got our order taken waited another 20-30 mins for our food (mind you it wasn’t busy in the restaurant) my order still wasn’t right and they forgot my margaritas which i had to wait another 10 mins for after the server just walks off without saying anything in the middle of making my drinks. This will definitely be my last time spending my money there I’ve given home too many chances
