I randomly searched for Jamaican food near me and found Locke’s Caribbean Kitchen — and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the jerk chicken, curried goat, and rice and peas, and everything was absolutely delicious. My husband and friends couldn’t stop raving about the flavor!
This is actually the first restaurant review I’ve ever written in my 38 years of living in the U.S., but I just had to take the time to share how good this food is. The owner is also very pleasant and welcoming. You will not be disappointed! Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

I’m Jamaica and I was looking for a place to have some Authentic Jamaican style food, My wife and I tried it out and we love the food. I had Brown Stew Chicken with White Rice & My wife had curry goat with Rice and Peas & plantain. We love it! Locke (The Chef) was also very friendly and have a Welcoming personality too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to try out Jamaican food.

I recently got a recommendation from a friend to try Locke’s Caribbean, and I didn’t hesitate—I love jerk chicken! I ordered the jerk chicken, which came with rice, beans, and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. I wasn’t sure what to get for my wife, so I asked Omar for a suggestion that wasn’t too spicy. He recommended the brown stew chicken, and she loved it!
While waiting, I tried one of the freshest, flakiest beef patties I’ve ever had. The food was incredible, but what really stood out was Omar behind the counter. He was kind, friendly, and a wonderful addition to Milford.

Was super excited to try this place out. Placed an order online, they confirmed the order. And when I showed up at 5:30pm they were closed. Even though their hours clearly state they close at 8pm. A waste of time to say the least

We got delivery at my job and I’m picky with meat so I just don’t order it. Omar was so nice called me and said he’d do a dish for me without meat. It was very flavorful and just him going out his way was very thoughtful …more places should have an Omar!

The customer service was great as everyone is welcoming and friendly and I love the vibes with the music playing as well. The food is fresh and packed with flavor. The chicken patties are now a must have when I go and the jerk chicken is a great choice (get the jerk sauce if you like the extra heat). The curry goat was flavorful as well and was very tender. Definitely happy to have Locke’s in Milford.

Very small place with big flavor! It was a spontaneous stop, on their SECOND day open, and so worth it! Gentlemen were so welcoming and wonderful, food was great and fresh. I was with a vegetarian friend and she loved the food as well. I wish them much success and I will be back.
