I’ve had the pleasure over many years to eat at this establishment. I’ve been out of state for many years working. Upon returning home, I craved to eat here again! The fish tasted old. The “fryer oil” needed to be changed out long ago.
The fried food had a “burned oil” taste. The special sauce for the fish was tasteless, watery and unrecognizable. The fish dinner was all I ordered to be honest. I left 2/3 of my dinner in the trash bin.
This restaurant CAN and SHOULD do better than this. This restaurant was me and my mother’s favorite Saturday night dinner growing up as a child.
I know the owner(s) can and should bring this landmark seafood restaurant back up to the “high standards” and value for your money, where it BELONGS!
It won’t require much effort but it needs attention.
Do it for the local community at least because we deserve to have OUR Clarksville Seafood restaurant back again.
A lot of my friends say the exact same thing. However, we all have opinions and this is just mine personally so, hopefully your visit here may be better already! I hope so, it is a great restaurant!

Dined in in the dining room. Very good improvements. Sorry to hear about Mr Rocky passing away. As far as the food goes it’s not what they say it’s supposed to be. It is not haddock, it is not the same seasoning. The hush puppies tasted like they were made with flour instead of cornmeal. Had heard all the good hype about this and was looking forward to it. Very disappointed great service though considering there wasn’t many people there. I wish the folks that are running the place now the best of luck however I believe you should make a few changes.

We loved the old version of this place but new owners came in and changed it all it seems. Fish is thin but descent flavor , hushpuppies aren’t any good if you ask me, very bland. Place looks great and I’m sure will attracted a new crowd but left the old crowd looking for a new go to spot.

Fish dinner was great and the onion rings I got instead of fries was well worth changing to. Must have been sweet onions as they tasted really sweet to me which in my opinion I liked better than most and weren’t greasy tasting as many places have. Love the home made tartar sauce as well.

We were really looking forward to trying this seafood restaurant. We heard a lot of great things about it. I had the fish and my wife had the shrimp. Fish was a nice size.(2 pieces) Shrimp was a nice amount too. Both tasted good but was a bit greasy. Tasted like old grease. We both had onion straws that were a bit greasy and tiny pieces. Straws didn’t taste that good. My wife had slaw that was good but watery. It was a clean restaurant and so was the bathroom. BTW ..They charge extra to use a credit card. I HOPE it gets better.

We are new to the area and this is our first time eating here. The food was good. One piece of fish was a little darker than the other but still good. The seasoning is just right. The slaw is very good. A deep cleaning of the woman’s bath is due and it needs a makeover.

It’s hard for me to be critical of a place I have gone to all my life. They give you a lot of good fish and are good people. Recently a little more run down and fish a little greasy. Air conditioner broke again. So maybe that affected my attitude. Can be great. Closed and now open under new owners. Will try it!
