I’ve only had real Cajun food in New Orleans but never tried Boudin or Crawfish pie before. So when I saw this place I jumped at the chance since I’m here from out of state. The pie crust on the crawfish pie tasted so fresh like as if my grandmother from Jamaica just make it and the Boudin was so delicious too even though I usually don’t go for spicy. I ordered the regular Boudin and not the smoked Boudin because smoked is spicier. I’m a Boudin and Crawfish pie fan now. Yum yum

Absolutely wonderful boudin and you can choose from meat pies, crawfish pies, stuffed boudin, boudin, etc.! One of the few places where you have a choice of boudin that is perfectly seasoned but not overly peppered. They also have a beautiful selection of popular pots and pans, seasonings and gift items for sale. Also love the drive-thru option

For the money, taste, and convenience this is a winner. Right off of the interstate pulled in at 5 o’clock, and there was nobody else there so we were served immediately tried the crayfish pork and beef pies, and they were very tasty more meat inside than pie, which is a pleasant surprise and spicy, did the large BOUDIN balls that and they were very good as well. Cool little stop very surprising for the money. The two of us ate for under $30.

Driving from New Orleans to Houston after Hurricane Ida, and these were recommended from a friend. By far the best boudin balls I’ve ever eaten, and the cracklins are sooo good! Perfect snack for the road. Stop here if you’re passing through the area!

The original boudain had a little spice but very light or no salt taste. The drive thru was awkward to drive on. There were a lot of new medium sized rocks around the back which were not easy to drive on. The driveway part in front of the window was up a hill with a guard curb so if you don’t turn just right, you better hope no one is behind you so you can back up. If you do backup watch out for the big dumpster on your tail. Think twice about riding your Dooley, or big vehicle thru there.
