The restaurant was quiet, and very clean. The boy who took my order was helpful and made great suggestions! My food was hot, fresh and amazing. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried to be patient with this location, but today was the third time I’ve walked out due to extremely poor front line management.
I stood in line for 10 minutes with only one customer ahead of me. The woman at the register was clearly working hard and doing her best, but she was completely overwhelmed. She was not only taking orders but also filling them herself. Meanwhile, I could see three employees standing in the back corner talking, and only one person working the prep area.
At 10:00 AM on a weekday, this should not be happening.
When I finally turned around to leave, there were four more customers standing patiently behind me waiting to place their orders. That’s lost business, and it reflects a leadership and staffing coordination issue, not a lack of effort from the front-line employee. I won’t be back.

This Panera seems to always be closed earlier than all the other Paneras. Many times they’re already closed at 5 or 6pm where other ones will be open till 8 or 9pm on the same day.. Always a paper sign on the door about shortened hours. On numerous occasions they’ve even locked their doors 15 minutes before they’re supposed to be closed.

I guess they have a hard time keeping employees and are always understaffed. Nobody ever at the register. When i order a simple self serve coffee at the kiosk, it usually takes at least 5-10 minutes for someone just to hand me the empty cup for my self serve coffee. Very often out of one or more coffees in the pots or out of or milk/cream/honey. This place used to be run much better. Not sure what happened here.

My Panera experiences are inconsistent. Often, when I order scones (usually 6 at a time), they are placed loose in a bag where they fall apart crumble vs in a box. Too often the baguettes I order are burnt. The prices have also increased substantially to the point I’ve stopped ordering certain items.

April 21, 2025 Placed an order (tuna salad sandwich) at the counter. After waiting 20 minutes, it still was not ready. I was out of lunch time and was forced to cancel my order. This was the first time I had set foot in a Panera in 10 years and my experience was a good reminder as to why I had not visited in as long. They also were out of pickles and didn’t have wheat bread???

I have been going to this Panera for a very long time. I don’t know if it is under new management or what, but the quality and service has gone downhill significantly since COVID. I just had the worst broccoli cheddar soup ever. I will go to the McCandless one from this point forward.

The food here is normally pretty decent, but I was shocked that they put the most unripe avocado in my salad. It was almost as hard a an avocado seed. I would have been embarrassed to serve this.

I spent a lot of time at this Panera in the last 2 days, as I did not have electricity. The place was flooded with people like me, all vying for electrical outlets to charge devices, or to use the free wifi to work and it was pretty chaotic. I though the staff did a great job keeping their collective cool as they dealt with a deluge of guests, some of whom were quite cranky. Yes, they ran out of some types of food. Yes, orders took a while to get. The staff was dealing with an overwhelming crush of orders and remained calm and patient. They worked their butts off! I just want to say kudos to the staff for dealing so well with the craziness!
