Please forgive my photos as i wasn’t planning on writing a review, but I was so satisfied that I decided to do so. The first night was perfect. Appetizer: Empanadas were good, not greasy and crispy shells, but nothing special until you added the red chili sauce, which was the absolute best of the 3 house sauces they bring.

An Argentinian restaurant in the heart of NOLA is something special. The appetizer sample was good. We ordered few kinds of steak and we were not disappointed. The desert sample though was incredible. See the picture!

Everything was amazing, especially the food! Our table got ‘The Tasting’ and I loved every bit of it! The drinks could have been more consistent though. I felt like I got a different cocktail all 3 rounds but I ordered the same drink each time.

Love everything from the empanada appetizer to our premium steaks, from our wine, brussel sprouts sides to our decadent coconut ice cream cake dessert. Our server Josiah was awesome. My filet mignon has the buttery melt in your mouth texture, taste was spot on. Ambiance was perfect. A must visit in NOLA when you want an Argentine steak experience!

Argentinian food but no mollejas at 9 pm, and the cook wasn’t argentinian. My guess is just a wanna be place fancy but not real. No PAN!!!!, NO ENSALADA RUSA…..empanadas wasn’t good normal but not good. The stake was ok missing salt, but ok. Now, the wine selection is incredible. The desert was ok, but panqueques too much dulce de leche and torch was left a bit longer to have a burn taste.

A great steakhouse. Wines are Argentinian, steaks are done like a true Chaquera, interior is well done and welcoming while still presenting as a very high quality location. Doorman and waitress were both friendly and informative. We will come back to New Orleans and we will have another great meal at La Boca!!

Full disclosure, I DID NOT eat here. I was looking for a new restaurant to try when I visit in the fall. So like everyone else, I read the Google reviews. OMG, I have NEVER seen such defensive and narcissistic replies back from management than I did from this restaurant. Doesn’t matter who’s right or wrong, this is the service industry. Totally turned me off of even considering this restaurant, no matter how good the food might be. But I’m sure they won’t care if I dine elsewhere!
