The lobster rolls are the best in northwest CT. The shrimp and grits are likely the top 5 I have ever had. Burgers are cooked to your preference. Dry rub wings are delish! Well crafted cocktails that hit the spot. The staff is lovely and attentive. Sunday live music brunch. Thursday nights are raw bar and a great happy hour til 6pm. Always a fun time with great food!

This is a great location right aling Bantam Lake in Bantam CT. Drinks were good. Service is great. Food was really great. The only thing I rated a four star was because the lobster rolls did not have a significant amount of lobster and was more roll than lobster but it was delicious. I would definitely eat there again. It’s a cozy ambience and casual setting.

It was outside seating under a tent. It was chilly. We were told to seat ourselves then review menu and go to counter to order.
Market price for the lobster roll was $33 but it was so small. It was good, just not worth the price in my opinion. The fish sandwich ($18) was pretty big but sloppy.
We thought the chips were too dark. The French press coffee was fantastic.
My daughter ordered a Dr Pepper which was obviously the dr pepper/cream soda variation. While that was fine, it should have been noted on the menu and not a surprise on the first sip.

Absolutely great food, casual outdoor and tent setting. Cajun chips. cabbage salad. Perfectly battered po-boy. Just takes forever for the food to arrive.

They have added a new, cozy section. It’s great! The New England Clam Chowder is to die for! We went during Happy hour and it was great. Their Moscow mule was also very good.

I can not believe in all the years I’ve lived in Litchfield county that this was the first time I stopped here. I love seafood & came here after kayaking for the day. I brought my son who has a seafood allergy & they were able to make his burger with fries no problem, he didn’t feel the least bit irritated (sometime he will hive up). They have a full bar & seating is all outside. I can’t wait to go back.

Delicious food with very friendly and helpful staff. Sat outside on the tent covered patio on a beautiful day. I have no idea if they even have an inside or not. Pretty good beer selection also! I would definitely go back when in the area.
FYI- they are no longer BYOB, though some older popular reviews say they are. They have a good full bar.

Absolutely delicious… We went later in the evening and saw the sunset, there was a wait for food but they offer a few great family games on the lawn and upbeat music to pass the time… definitely recommend for a laid back delicious seafood dinner…

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but I had one of the worst experience in a restaurant in my life today. Thought we were going to a seafood restaurant, walked into a borderline 80’s diner. They’ve been advertising on the Audacy app about their raw bar and happy hour specials. They gave us a pile (at least 8) of menus and no where did it say anything about having a raw bar. When I asked about the oysters she said “I don’t even know if we have oysters” (big sign on the wall said Wellfleet oysters) tried to order off their menus but were told they were out of multiple items (including an altercation between the cook and the waitress). When food finally came out there was a vile taste on the buffalo chicken wings and I couldn’t even eat them. My husband’s sandwich was supposed to be jerk chicken, however it tastes like bland chicken. The fries were cooked in bad old oil, Cole slaw was gray. False advertisement, bad food and won’t come again. I hope no one else is duped into going.

Been wanting to try this little gem for a while right by Bantam Lake. I had the whole belly clams and my wife had the fried oysters both delicious. The lobster biscuits not something I would rave about but ok. They are always busy so plan on waiting. We got here early with plenty of seating and still had to wait 30 minutes for our food all and all I say it was worth the wait. Keep in mind. They are open seven days a week but they do close from 3 o’clock to 4 o’clock for a break and do not serve during that hour.
