Went here without knowing anything about the food. It was great from even the moment I got out of the car. The valet was super friendly, even! We didn’t have a reservation but were seated right away. Our waitress, McKenzie, was so sweet and knowledgeable – and our food was paced perfectly. Everything was delicious… literally everything. And thoughtfully/beautifully presented. Absolutely will go back.

I came here on a Tuesday with 2 other women. We arrived right at 5pm when they opened and were immediately seated inside. We had no trouble ordering multiple orders of unlimited fries, salads, and happy hour martinis. The vibe, food, drinks, ambience, and service was amazing. I will be back!!

We checked out the Christmas pop-up & it was our first time coming to Bar Avize. There are two entrances & for the Christmas bar you don’t come in through the main entrance, but the hostess helped us find where we needed to be. I accidentally booked the patio online & the waiters on duty worked together to find us an indoor table so we wouldn’t be cold, they did that just to be kind; I didn’t even have to ask. They politely told us since we sat inside we’d have to leave in about two hours, which made perfect sense to me. I felt a little rushed at the beginning though & it was date night so I wanted to slow it down a bit. The drinks were stiff! In the best way! I tried to boujee nuggets but didn’t realize they had trout eggs, my mistake, & I couldn’t do that. I did feel like the menu was too limited for people who don’t like seafood. The menu was creative but it also felt like I had to order something so fancy or order off of a kids menu (spaghetti or pizza). But hey maybe I’m just not that fancy lol. The vibes were lovely, Polar Express was playing & the decor is beautiful. The bill was- gasp. We had two drinks, spaghetti, & nuggets. We did order another round but only got one drink instead, which I couldn’t check because we didn’t get an itemized bill whether we’d been charged for four total instead of three, but I honestly don’t think we were. The 20% gratuity is automatically added, so consider that when ordering but honestly there’s not a lot of price conscious ordering available here. So plan to splurge here! It’s an upscale type beat & overall it wasn’t for me, but I love what they’re doing here & it is worth the stop this Christmas to see for yourself. The chef is obviously a creative with a sense of humor & I wish this place the best!

Bar Avize is absolutely not worth the time for their happy hour meal. My salad came out with a hair on the plate. We waited over 50 minutes for a refill on the fries, and my friend never even got her first order during that time. The server was nice, but even after reminding multiple times about our fries we still only got one refill during our time there. The QR code to order is hard to use because it didn’t track previously placed items easily. Their resy says they validate for 3 hours of self-parking and we only received validation for 1. Will absolutely not be back and I would not recommend others to go.

Always exceptional service. Drinks are good, loved the edelweiss (their take on white negroni). Don’t usually get salads, but their Dandelion salad had such a dynamic flavor, so recommend trying it. Their standout go-to appetizer is the parfait so make sure you try that. I had the Fallow Deer, which was perfectly made, though the portion was smaller than I was expecting. I’d probably recommend the Duck or Chicken for first time. For fish, my partner had the Halibut in the past which was exceptional.
As far as desert drinks.. we got the young grasshopper, which is like a mint chocolate chip tasting milk drink. I thought it was okay, and was probably served with 70% ice and 30% actual drink.

Bar Avize nails the upscale comfort vibe. The bougie chicken nuggets are perfection, the burger is melt in your mouth, and the Never Nude mezcal cocktail brings the perfect smoky-citrus balance. A go-to for elevated bites, craft cocktails, and chill post-work vibes.

Woof, okay here we go. I went for the “girl dinner” happy hour all over socials. First, I was forced to valet at a public parking deck (not the restaurants fault, just a warning) for $5 and later found out the restaurant validates if you park yourself. The waiter who sat us did not welcome us. After being seated for 10 min, someone comes to our table and takes our order and I order a gin martini with a twist, my friend orders gin dirty. When our drinks finally come they are both dirty with olive and I mention I ordered with a twist. The waiter then PULLS the olive out of my drink and says he’ll bring me a twist which he does but there’s still olive juice in there??? I ignore it, gross martini. The ceasar salad is uncooked broccoli and kale and is not great. My friend finished hers but it was not for me, and certainly not like a traditional ceasar. The air conditioning was some sort of broken, it was hot, our drinks were warm, and the air vent dripped on me several times . Thank goodness the fries were good. We try to pay for 15 min and when they finally come around we pay on a hand held while they hold and watch you tip. Not my favorite. Then I had to deal with the valet again who questioned me when I didn’t tip him after he forced me to valet. 2 stars is feeling generous but they do have several other things on the menu.

I heard that they had unlimited Cesar salad and fries, but when I got there it was 1 ridiculously small portion and each portion after that would have also been $20. My friend’s ordered their “boujee nuggets” and only got FIVE nuggets. They do validate parking which is nice, but you need to ask, and it took the waiter 30 minutes to get it. Service was awful. She rushed us to order and rushed us out event though we were 1 of 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. They also immediately put a 20% gratuity despite us only being 3 people. Super overpriced for super small portions. I would not recommend this restaurant. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I left hungry and angry.

Sleek modern decor mixed with evident but not overpowering music make this a spot to visit.
Outstanding service and impressive food. The duck was beautifully cooked, not dry and not greasy with exceedingly complementary flavors which leave a gentle explosion in your mouth.
Very staff and management
