Visited twice, hands down one of my favorite happy hours in Downtown Houston. I should gatekeep Myles, the bartender, great customer service. Very friendly and welcoming. Drinks were good. Food was quick, fresh and flavorful. Those wings are fire! I’ve only stayed on level one and the ambience is chill during happy hour, low lighting, nice music and turned up after dinner. Highly Recommend

I visited for brunch with my family. The restaurant itself has nice ambiance. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner. He was very nice. I enjoyed the 90s-2000s music that was playing. The volume level makes it a little hard to have a conversation while you eat. The food was ok. I was surprised at the small portion sizes compared to most restaurants in the area. Flavor was also lacking. We were charged a 20% service fee although we only a had party size of 6. I’m not sure where that came from and it was not explained. The restaurant was not busy so I expected the waitress to be more attentive than she was. Great atmosphere but the food was not it.

Visited Victory for the first time while in Houston for the Holiday. Realized it was next to my hotel downtown, so we decided to give it a try on Friday night. Initial impressions at the door was professional and inviting. No issues with the reservation even after we adjusted to the right. The main dining space was clean, upscale with tasteful decor to match. Proper, but moody lighting filled the space creating a luxury ultra lounge look. Service and Hospitality was on point as our server Derrya took care of us the entire night. From her recommendation of drinks ,food and helping order our hookah. The food came out in a timely manner and was cooked well. Derrya’s hospitality alone convinced me to spend a bit extra than I planned.I Recommend Victory to anyone looking have a good time, grab some good dining, and catch a vibe.

This is my first time catching their happy hour and OMG the food and cocktails are absolutely phenomenal!!!! I was helped by Myles And he is definitely one of the best bartenders I’ve had in a while…. Especially considering I came here earlier in the year and I wasn’t too impressed, but they definitely made up for it with this visit! Everything is so good definitely recommend stopping by especially for happy hour. They have a really decent happy hour menu.

By far the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. Had a reservation for 5 pm. We were seated for about 35 to 40 mins before we saw a server. The table next ours had an even longer wait. We did not get a glass of water until 50 minutes in. We ordered immediately due to the slow service and informed the server that we made the reservation due to an event we had at 7. Fast forward it is 6:50 no food. So we left, but as we are leaving the food was being brought to our table. 1. Customer service if you over booked for an event make sure you hire enough help. 2. You changed the menu to a three course valentine dinner for $65 per person with a 20 percent service charge then you want to tax on another 3 percent for credit card. I would not have mind if the food and service were good but for what was presented, please do not try and take people’s hard earned money then provide poor service. 3. This is the part I could not understand, people who came in after us were getting food and drinks quicker than what we were. We were not rude or disrespectful at any point, but only asked why is it taking so long for our server and why such a long wait. Needless to say we will not be back or recommend this establishment.

Started ok with the appetizers. Downstairs was nice but then we had to move upstairs because our party grew bigger. The section we were given had some hard, black stuff on the floor. It was dmso nasty. The guy had to scrape it off the floor. He was spraying cleaner and mopped with a dirtyvmop. Just unsanitary and unprofessional! My oxtail bowl was trash. Full of fatty meat, presentation was horrible. These new grass/flower wall astetic restaurants suck in Houston. Those oxtail were not eoth $46. I could’ve bought a pack and cooked them myself. This place won’t be here long. Definitely will NOT be here again. Manager was trash and did not really rectify the situation

Mikayla was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating from start to finish. She made sure we were comfortable, checked in at the perfect times, and handled everything with such a positive attitude. Her customer service was top-notch, and she really helped make our experience enjoyable. You can tell she truly cares about her guests. Thank you, Mikayla!

I am extremely disappointed in our Valentine’s Day experience at Victory.

We made a reservation for five people at 5:30 PM. After booking, we were notified there would be a set menu with rosé at a flat rate of $65 per person. That was not an issue. It is Houston and that is a reasonable holiday price point. We arrived at 5:30 PM and were seated immediately, which gave us hope for a smooth evening.

By 5:45 PM, our waitress took our order and served us warm rosé. That should have been the first sign.

From there, the night completely unraveled.
6:00 PM, no food.
6:30 PM, no food.
7:00 PM, still nothing.
7:30 PM, still nothing.

After speaking with the manager about the lack of service and food, plates finally started coming out, but in the most disorganized way possible:

Guest 1 received both their appetizer and entrée.
Guest 2 received only an entrée, no sides.
Guest 3 received both their appetizer and entrée.
Guest 4 received nothing.
Guest 5 received nothing.

When the food did arrive, it was ice cold. Not warm. Not slightly cool. Ice cold. When we brought this to both the waitress and the manager, no real solution was offered. No immediate replacement. No urgency. Just apologies.

At 8:00 PM, Guest 4’s appetizer finally arrived. Guest 5 never received any food at all. We had a 5:30 PM reservation and at 8:00 PM one guest still had not been served.

Several surrounding tables were experiencing the same chaos, so this was clearly a systemic issue that night. Yet there was no proactive management, no communication, and no meaningful attempt to make things right.

When it was time to pay, the waitress presented the bill with a mandatory 20 percent gratuity included. That was unacceptable given the level of service. After speaking with the manager for the third time, we were offered a 30 percent discount.

Because of this experience, we were late to our 8:00 PM concert.

I have been to Victory before. It has never been my first choice, but the food has typically been consistent and the drinks solid. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my perspective. Valentine’s Day is supposed to feel special. Instead, it felt disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional.

I would not recommend Victory ever!

Miles was so dope!!! He is the bartender and was just assisting. You wouldn’t know it from the way he attended to us. He was great. The food was yummy. I had the salmon with crab. Top notch. Very flavorful. My party enjoyed their food as well. The bread pudding is really good as well. Soft and not heavy like many. Really liked the victory sauce. Worth adding to a dish.
Side bar- ask Miles to make you a custom drink of you are a risk taker. He hooks me up nicely.

The place looks like it’d be hopping later in the night, I was there during a quiet time and got attentive service and an amazing, memorable jerk chicken pasta! comfort food of the greatest comfort.
