Grandmas Pie hands down the best pizza in the area!! Good food, fast and friendly service. Recently ordered pizzas and asked that two be cut in extra slices for a child’s birthday party. When we went to pick up, they had included (for free) 2 containers of cannolis with a special birthday wish!

My go to pizza place for the area. Pizza’s, cheese steaks, garlic knots, and when they have those pinwheels. It’s all been pretty good and it’s always been a welcoming atmosphere.
They also usually have a pretty good assortment of pizzas to choose from at the counter if you’re just in a hurry.

I’m in town on business and wanted a pizza…closest place to my hotel was Mario’s.
Walked in, was greeted immediately and provided a menu to order from. Lots of good looking choices and I settled on the German Pizza. I was not disappointed!!
I didn’t have to wait long before the pizza was ready…piping hot cheese and tasty steak and pepperoni toppings. It was tasty!
The whole place has maybe 8 tables but on a nice day you can cross the street and eat under the shade at the park.
All in all, good pizza at decent prices.

This is a gem well hidden in the tiny town of Weissport PA.
I will drive the 40 minutes, past several other pizzerias just for the Gandmas thin crust Sicilian pizza…The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Sorry no photos…the pie doesn’t last that long, maybe next time.

We were excited to try Mario’s based on the high reviews. The pizza was pretty mediocre, the young lady that took our order was seemingly bothered to do her job. The look on her face when we said we wanted to dine in led me to ask her not once, not twice but three times what time they closed since we seemed to be inconveniencing her by it. We walked in the restaurant at 6:30 on a Saturday, they close at 9:30. It gets even better, when I asked for a fountain drink in lieu of a bottled one, you would have thought I asked for a kidney. We get our pizza, it’s super hot and cheesy and we need silverware to eat it. I get up and stand at the counter for a solid minute watching the delightful Morgan on her phone before she realizes I’m there, she approaches me and I ask politely for silverware, she doesn’t even attempt to disguise the eye roll and hands me the silverware. Being someone raised with good manners I thank her despite her obvious annoyance at being asked to do her job. I’ll let you guess whether or not she uttered a “you’re welcome!”
The rest of the employees seemed nice and spoke to us and asked us where we were from. I just can’t imagine why you’d have Morgan as the face of your business. I know good help is hard to come by, but if I were local, this would keep me from coming back.
